The first time I had the pleasure of seeing Dixon's Violin was at my first Electric Forest experience in 2018. It was our final day, and we were lucky to even get a ride into the festival that day. We luckily spotted a couple who looked like they were festival dressed and spent a good majority of our time with them in the Observatory while they showed me and my friend what "Rothbury" meant to them.

How do you say no to an interview with THE PIONEERS of Techno music at Movement? The answer is no matter how nervous you may be... you DON'T. To say that I was nervous for my first in-person interview, and with CloZee no less, would be an understatement.  I’d prepared by watching hours of interviews with her, put all my questions on notecards on a keyring (heaven forbid I drop them), packed my bag of gear, and got to the Crystal Ballroom early.  As it turned out, I didn’t have to “fake it ‘til you make it” for long as Chloé Herry, better known as CloZee, is gracious, kind, and funny.

Over the last 20 years, we have known Cosmic Gate to be one of the most powerful duos in the trance genre. On Friday, April 12th, myself and thousands of other guests followed Nic and Bossi to the Cosmic Gate and were taken for a ride through trance music, past and present.

It isn't every day that you have the opportunity to interview your favorite Trance DJ in the world. Normally, my nerves get the best of me. I've always found myself much better at dancing on stage, than having to speak on stage, let alone speak with my favorite artist. Say what?!? Whatever my hangups, I couldn't pass up the incredible opportunity to interview the Unicorn Slayer himself, Markus Schulz at Miami Music Week.

You can tell I'm legit having a fangirl moment the entire time, trying to calm my inner nerves, while asking the questions I have had in my mind for him over the last 15 years.

Armin drops the scoop on his latest releases, what he planned for Ultra and why he explores multiple genres of music in the studio.

Fresh off the back of their widely successful ‘Lost California’ tour, chillwave meets trap duo Hippie Sabotage have embarked on their 2019 tour, ‘The Beautiful Beyond’, with the sibling producers set to head on a mammoth 30-date schedule across North America.

After a massive festival run this last year playing the likes of Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, HARD, and Electric Zoo, Hippie Sabotage has delivered fans a steady stream of new music including the buzzy “FADING INTO FOG” and the highly acclaimed flip of Billie Eilish and Khalid’s  “Lovely”.

The duo recently dove back into their hip-hop roots, earning credits on Denzel Curry’s latest album TA1300 with “MAD I GOT IT”.

Steve Helstrip, aka The Thrillseekers, has been producing trance music since the 1990s. He’s been a pioneer of the genre and has really led the way for many other producers. He’s ‘released a ton of legendary tracks like ‘Synaesthesia”, which still blows my mind every time I hear it. 

Steve also performs under the moniker Hydra, which he’s been touring as for a while now in anticipation of his new album. We’re all waiting suspensefully for the release of this one, that’s for sure.
