This episode of Fresh Out The Box features Rana Ghose, a curator, economist, writer, and filmmaker. He steers REProduce, an event management collective that works with over 300 artists in India and beyond. His current focus is REProduce Listening Room, a series of interventions in non traditional spaces that engages with music and video in modular, sequential plays - taking advantage of the aesthetics of strange spaces and producing them into five hour embedded experiences where up to eight different performances unfold.
His written work has appeared in GQ, The Quietus, and Dazed, his film work has been commissioned by Vice, The Discovery Channel, and the United Nations, and he has booked and produced events all over Asia, Europe and North America ranging from 20,000 capacity festival stages, to old bakeries, destroyed hotels, and erstwhile monasteries.
Join Rana in conversation w/ RJ Bhakti, as he talks about his journey through different creative industries, REProduce Artists and a lot more.
