This Friday we are discussing transfers that don’t take, because we did not fail, the embryo did not fail, it simply did not take. And that’s okay. It can be heartbreaking and we as surrogates are allowed to feel the emotional rollercoaster too, but remember YOU DID NOT FAIL. 

Often times surrogates place blame on themselves and sometimes others place blame on the surrogate. But in order to create life, SO MANY things have to align perfectly, not just semi-perfect, but 100% perfectly. And sometimes there is no rhyme or reason, it just doesn’t work. 

Unfortunately sickness was spreading like wildfire and some girls were unable to make this conversion, but fortunately Mary was able to speak with us and Ellen has experienced this as well.
