Tune in to hear host Genevieve Randall have lively conversations about: Larksong Writers Place's upcoming writers' workshop in Brownville (); Angel Theater Company's 11th Annual Taking Flight Festival (); a new anthology assembled by Ilanna Masad and Stevie Seibert Desjalais called Here for All the Reasons: Why We Watch The Bachelor (); and learn about Norfolk's new ArtWorks Studio. There will also be more poetry from Eleanor Reeds, as well as hear the first part of a series on the art of the new Omaha Library from KJ Teder. This week we hear from artists Cindy Weil and Shelby Neely.

This week on the Friday LIVE Extra, we hear from Omaha's Film Streams about an upcoming screening of "Bad Faith- Christian Nationalism's War on Democracy" in conjunction with the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska. Also hear about the West Nebraska Art Center's 2026 President's Show, "250 Years of Voices: Women Shaping Our Nation."

At Scottsbluff's Theatre West, the question of, “what if you could live forever?” is being asked with their production of Tuck Everlasting. At Lincoln's Pinewood Bowl, Pinewood Performing Arts is putting on a production of Annie.

This week on the Friday LIVE Extra, we took a tour of Brownville's main street. We wanted to get a taste of what Brownville offers for arts and culture. We visited the Sage Museum, Environs Art of the Midwest working Studio/Gallery, New Earth Clay Pottery and the Schoolhouse Art Gallery.
