You hear us chanting our mantra constantly: All politics is local. Local politics are the unsung heroes of grassroots movements, but they often don’t feel as exciting or impactful as the spectacles happening at the national level, so everyday people don’t get involved as much. But! Local politics not only affect our daily lives in every possible way—including being important and effective pushbacks on those national spectacles—they’re also often training grounds for politicians with higher aspirations. The Christian nationalist right-wing knows this, and has been attempting to take over school boards for years. We’ve got a great way for you to fight back before the end of May!
