Enter 2016's The Void. Never have we been so in love with creepy triangles! If you were on board when we covered films like The Beyond, Housewife, or even Pumpkinhead then this film will be right up your alley!

Take it from us, trying to get laid and accidently falling in with a group of outlaws is always a dangerous situation. Now when those outlaws hold a much darker and deadlier secret is when the Fried Squirms get interested. _Near Dark_, from acclaimed director Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty), has all that going for it, plus Bill Paxton! Even in the tropics the Squirms seem to come across a rotten time. Returning to full on horror, and one of the 'godfathers of gore' Lucio Fulci, the Squirms this week take a look at _Zombi 2_. Controversial upon release, and one of the notorious 'video nasties', it has all one could want from a Fulci film. From eye stuff, to being a questionable sequel to _Dawn of the Dead_, to a zombie fighting a shark, all the classics and more are there as the Squirms go further in on this great film!

We'll be straight-up here. This isn't really a horror movie. However, we here at Fried Squirms still find this retelling of Faust, complete with Sex, Drugs, and ample amounts of Rock n' Roll (not to mention a devilishly amazing Malcolm McDowell as Mr. Capricorn cough Satan*cough*) to be one of the more fun versions of the tale we've ran across. Bonus for fans of Black Veil Brides and/or Asking Alexandria, it stars Andy Biersack and Ben Bruce! So rock along with us to find out what the Squirms thought of American Satan.

Sometimes, the Squirms take their time to get to classics. Take An American Werewolf in London for example. A classic tale of boys meet wolf, wolf hurts boys, boy meets girl, boy turns into wolf, girl survives a barrage of police gunfire that mows down wolf. Despite it being such a well-worn story path, John Landis tells it expertly and the Squirms go off the moors talking about it.

Around here, Christmas just isn't Christmas unless you've been traumatized by Grandpa at least once, with a killer Santa on the loose. So luckily this year we're in for one helluva Christmas. This week the Squirms take on the crazy that is the holiday slasher known as Silent Night, Deadly Night.
