One of my favorite ways to get cozy as the fall season sets in is to listen to podcasts that make me feel cozy.

You know how there are just people in this world that bring high energy wherever they go? The host of this week's kid podcast is one of those people. Her name is Melissa Victor, but you can also call her Melly.

She is the host of Stoopkid Stories, a podcast that has so much joy and heart that I'm sure your kids will love it as much as mine do. • A Fun History Podcast, This American President

One way that I use podcasts that I might not talk about as much is to help me think deeply, and use my brain in a way that I don't usually get to as a stay at home mom of little kids. Having a fun history podcast like This American President allows me to do that!

Today's episode is a chat I had with one of my dear friends, Allison Anderson, whose first book comes out in two weeks from today. It's called The Spring Maiden. • What Happened in Rome? The Fall Of The Roman Empire

Many parts of our daily life date back to the Roman Empire, even if we don't realize it. From the names of the planets in our solar system, to modern roads and highways. It would probably be smart to learn a bit about how the Roman Empire fell.

This week's podcast helps us learn just that, but not in a boring history textbook sort of way. In an interesting and concise way. Let’s listen in and see how we can relate things from today to the Roman Empire!
