How should we invest all of these profi- I mean, proceeds? What stocks in the Friendlytown Offshore Stock Hedge Operation (FO-SHO) are looking the best? Are those pork futures looking safer this time around? The last thing we’d want to have to do is call Dustin Meadows back to down to take care of another hot dog surplus this Fall…. but anyway, tell a friend about the show but not any details. Gotta keep our noses clean here in Friendlytown.

It took a very special occasion to get Friendlytown out of it’s normal meeting time, and that special occasion was a fundraiser show for WOZO-FM, Community Powered Radio. Granted, the location was the same (The Pilot Light), but the night, occasion, and audience was mostly different. Our volunteers, Tyler, Beth, and Jared, took calls all…30 minutes (that was our time slot) from a variety of interesting and confused people, to help raise money. Tune in and hear us confuse the hell out a bunch of people for a great cause.

Well, in this episode, the citizens of Friendlytown will be getting their results from all of the best off-brand genealogy tests: 22.99 and Me, Ancestry.biz, and all the others. TUNE IN as our residents engage in these moments of personal discovery and epiphany about why they are the way they are.

Friendlytown is a weird comedy show, and this may have been the weirdest fucking thing we’ve ever done. If you don’t know, now you know. That’s all we got.

If you’ve read your Friendlytown history books, you know that our town was once an unincorporated territory split by QEDopolis and Bonhomieburg until July 2, 1981. Our Independence Day always gets overshadowed by the U.S. one on the 4th, but not this year. This year, we’re getting our best storytellers to hype up the people, places and events in our contentious, surprisingly bloody fight for autonomy. Our Mayors in the Friendlytown Historical Society will re-enact pivotal moments during the war, regale us with tales of the many battles, and impersonate some of the great Friendlytown war heroes.
