We are back from our break and ready to jump right back. This week we discuss self-proclaimed hair and skincare experts Brad Mondo and Hyram Yarbro. The dewy gods themselves. Whether it be Youtube or Tiktok, you most likely have seen one of these men come across your feed. 

We track Brad Mondo's success from "Hairdresser Reacts to..." videos to some of his more controversial histories. We also discuss Hyram Yarbro (or as you may know him @skincarebyhyram) and how he went from loving skincare to a full blown 'skincare expert'.  And at the end of the day, we get into why Gen Z is so obsessed with these young men. 

We have made it to the finale of our Beauty Youtube Saga, and to the year 2020. This week we break down the recent happenings of what many call Karmageddon. We look into the truth and the (many) lies. So who wins at this time: Jeffree Star, Tati Westbrook, Shane Dawson, or James Charles? 

Join us as we delve into our recent past with Dramageddon 2.0. We look at what got us to this point, and perhaps delve into the motivations that led up to this incident. We look at our whole host of characters, and what brought the beauty world to this point of no return. We also touch on Shane Dawson's documentary, The Secret World of Jeffree Star. This week we get messy, so be ready!

This week it is all about boys, boys, boys! We introduce our last cast of characters before starting into what you are all here for the drama. Listen as we talk about Jeffree Star, James Charles, and Manny Guiterrez (aka MannyMUA). We look at the rise of these male beauty gurus. 

Additionally, we look at the changing tides in the beauty community and the shift towards a more commodified beauty scene. This scene breeds something in the beauty gurus that isn't always ideals. With so many people rising to the top shade begins to get thrown. 

We are expanding on the Beauty Guru community this week. We talk about the rising popularity of YouTube as a place where other makeup artists can share their knowledge and how reality television began bringing nontraditional  beauty gurus onto the scene. Our focus of this week is Nikkie De Jager, Jaclyn Hill, Tati Westbrook, Marlena Stell, and more.
