Saint Valerius (4th century) was bishop of Caesaraugusta (Saragossa), participated in the council of Elbira (Granada), around the year 306, had Saint Vicente Mártir as deacon Vincent of Saragossa first [martyr] of Spain. Both Valerius and Vincent suffered imprisonment under Diocletian. Valerius was held captive in Valencia during Diocletian's persecution,  apparently he saved his life and perhaps he was banished to an  undetermined area of the Aragonese Pyrenees. Valerius was exiled for a  time to a place called Enet, near Barbastro. In 1050, some remains that were considered his were transferred to Roda  de Isábena and, from 1118, after the entry into Zaragoza of the  Christian troops of Alfonso I the Battler, these remains were  transferred to Zaragoza in successive shipments throughout several  decades.

The TNA X Division was established on June 19, 2002 at Total Nonstop Action's first weekly PPV event with a Six Man Tag Team match resulting in Jimmy Yang, Jorge Estrada, and Sonny Siaki—collectively known as The Flying Elvises—defeating A.J. Styles, Jerry Lynn, and Low Ki.[1][8] Later that day at the taping of the next weekly PPV event, TNA introduced the X Division Championship—then known as the X Championship—to showcase the division more prominently.[1][8] The division is described as wrestling reinvented, as it takes traditional wrestling and mixes it with the fast-paced, high–risk style of wrestling incorporated in cruiserweight divisions and lucha libre.[8] The division was until 2011 promoted under the motto "It is not about weight limits, it is about no limits" by commentator Mike Tenay.[8][9][10][11] On the August 11, 2011, edition of TNA's primary television program, Impact Wrestling, TNA authority figure Eric Bischoff announced that from that point onwards the X Division would have a weight limit of 225 lb (102 kg).[12] Following Hulk Hogan becoming the new on-screen General Manager in March 2012, the weight limit was ignored on June 10, 2012, at Slammiversary when the 280 lb (130 kg) Samoa Joe was allowed to challenge for the belt.[13][14] In October 2012, the weight limit was officially repealed when 237 lb (108 kg) Rob Van Dam challenged for, and eventually won, the title at Bound for Glory. In March 2013, the X Division was given a new set of rules, which meant all matches were wrestled in Triple Threat format, and a new weight limit of 230 lbs. This proved to be extremely unpopular with fans, and the rules and weight limit were repealed once again in August of that year.[15][16]

Godwin turned pro in 1930.  He captured the National Boxing Association World Light Heavyweight title on March 1, 1933 with a ten round points decision over reigning champion Joe Knight at Legion Arena in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Godwin employed excellent  blocking early in the bout.  Though he took many hard licks, he  remained aggressive and won the infighting, particularly after Knight  tired by mid-bout.[5]  Godwin took two of the first five rounds, with three even.  Drawing on  remarkable stamina, the 21-year old Godwin won the next four rounds,  leaving the tenth even. Godwin took a beating in the bout, with both  eyes badly swollen by the end.  It was a primitive match requiring  limited boxing skill or ring generalship.[6]  Godwin won a total of three of the five meetings between him and Knight.[7]

The fist pump is a celebratory gesture involving a closed fist. The gesture has different permutations and meanings based on context of use.[1] Variations include a fist that is raised before the torso and subsequently drawn down and nearer  to the body in a vigorous, swift motion, often including an exclamation  such as "Yes!" or a grunt.[1] Another variation is when the fist is raised in the air then pumped up and down, or punched in a circular boxing motion.[2] It is commonly seen in sporting events after a success, such as scoring a difficult goal.

Though the fist pump is commonly used in the sporting world[3] it is also seen in broader culture. The television show Jersey Shore has been credited as helping to popularize an Italian-American influenced bro culture dubbed 'fist pumping culture', characterized by "wolfish  males—sometimes hunting in packs—getting ripped at the gym and making  sure their haircuts and outfits are optimized for maximum courting  potential".[2] The Rocky movie heroically depicts the "Italian Stallion" pumping his fist in the  air after running up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at  dawn.[4] The closing scene of The Breakfast Club, which has been called the "iconic last shot of the movie", shows Judd Nelson's non-conformist character pumping his fist in the air as he walks alone from an empty football stadium into the night.[5]

Ray Slater, producer on the Bobby Bones Show,  fist pumped for 17 hours and 15 minutes to establish what he and local  news coverage believed to be a "world record" (there is no Guinness  World Record for fist pumping).
