We're continuing our series in Natural Horror with Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 ornithological opus THE BIRDS! The gents catch up on holiday plans. Joshua has put up the Scary Cryptmas tree and can't stop fiddling with it. Joe wants money for the holidays so he can just buy his own shit (insert Pinecast tip jar reminder here...) Holiday film planning with STAR WARS: RISE OF SKYWALKER and CATS! Joshua gets a bunch of new horror documentaries including MEMORY: THE ORIGINS OF ALIENS and IN SEARCH OF DARKNESS. The boys try to sort out if THE BIRDS is about communism, the Cold War, or just some nagging women. It's certainly not JUST about some angry birds...

We're taking it back to junior high with a compare and contrast paper episode! We welcome to the studio Alien franchise super fan Daniel! The three of us break down our trip to the 40th Anniversary screening of ALIEN. Daniel helps us keep our facts straight, well as straight as they'll go anyways... When choosing sides, Joe lands firmly on the ALIENS side leaving Joshua outnumbered. We chat about the Vietnam War, motherhood, AIDS, male pregnancy, and Joshua gets a bit emotional at the thought of Xenomorph genocide. It gets weird is all we're really trying to say...
