Hello and welcome to "Frit, Fire and the Feminine" first podcast. We are, Helen Grierson and Almudena Rocca. We are a mother-and-daughter artist duo that brings you a podcast about all things arty, creative and nurturing. Helen is a self-taught glass artist with over 20 years of experience behind her and as a former teacher found her love for glass later in life. Almudena went to art school and has been carving a creative career over the past 4 years since graduating. While Almudena's work explores intuition and mental health, Helen is currently exploring the expansive journey of ageing.
We will be releasing one podcast on the 1st of every month.
This is a very informal messy introduction to who I am and this podcast series. I want to use this space to invite creatives and people to talk about themselves, their experiences and difficult topics. As I am an artist myself a lot of the topics will be surrounding art however I hope to explore other subjects.
