In this episode we talk in depth about Willard Chase's affidavit of 1833, in which he recounts a story about Joseph Smith fighting a toad protecting the Golden Plates, which shapeshifts into a human being, and beats him up severely. It's a story of silver mines and gold treasure that might have been conduits to a bigger picture of the divine.
