By learning everything from the people who are successful and then by taking that learning and adding your own twist is where you become the master. Where you can find success.

I think this is so true. Even when we think we know there is more to learn and experience. More knowledge and actions to learn is always going to add to your life as long as it's learning AND applying that learning.

Finding and spending more time around people who have purpose in their lives can not only help us learn more but can also be very supportive in keeping us 9n track for our own dreams.

This was what I've been expecting from this book. Basically, he says if they don't need you they will get rid of you quickly. Wow...so much to be said about this!

At first glance I wasn't so sure about this. He talks about putting your faith into learning and not technology. Our world of technology grows every day. But technology changes and can fail when you need it. Learning you carry with you forever.

If we spend too much time on things that don't matter to us as much we lose all that time that we could have used to do the important things. The things that really matter to us. Choose time.

There is the failure where you fail and and right there you decide it can't be done. You don't try any more. Or there is the failure where you learn. You understand that there is a lesson and you keep trying!

The painful truth is that there is no shortcut. Do the work.

The detailed work is the work many people try to avoid or they consider it to small for them to bother with. But the detailed work is what leads to mastery and sets you apart from others. It's in the detailed work where you build that foundation to success.
