"Today's aligning is all about not taking what other people say or do personally. I know this one can be REALLY challenging. Even having the mother I have who told me time and time again that "It's none of my business what
people think of me," I STILL can take what people say and do personally from time to time, especially the people closest to me. Remember, I'm a single mom of two teens. If you know anything about teenagers, you know how

In today's aligning we are going to dive deeper into feelings, because they are important to pay attention to. They are a gift, even if the feelings bring floods of tears, they are a gift. I say this after coming off some of the
roughest months I've had in YEARS. There is a reason I know I needed to being doing the daily aligning work again, and watching myself in such a dark period
is what made me realize I was completely frozen in the energy of fear, lack, and separation. The stories playing in my head were churned up some scary stuff, but facing it, and loving myself though it is what got me here. Full transcript of today's episode HERE.

Today's aligning is all about looking up at the clouds. As I'm preparing the post, I just got finished with my sunset walk and the clouds looked magical. It really does put my heart at peace when I take the time to look up and pay attention. It just really helped me appreciate what I was preparing for this day even more. Today's aligning covers a lot of ground. It
includes the importance of feelings and centering ourselves. I've been tryingto figure out when to bring up how we can sometimes get warped definitions
around feelings. I may talk about this again in the series, but it's so important, I need to bring it up right now. One of the exercises I have people do is to define love. The reason I do this is because my definition was so
warped that I thought I deserved to be in a verbally, emotionally, psychologically, financially, and narcissistically abusive relationship, and that's what love was. Find the full transcript HERE.
