I turned 2 in 1975 and the first technology that I became fascinated with was the record player - and those big discs that came in large, colourful sleeves. This episode explores the magic of records/LPs and how, in 1975, I had some of the best music of a generation in my ears as I travelled to England, Denmark, France, Italy and Greece. In a VW Combi van, no less. I also tell how I randomly encountered an eccentric man building his own airship out of scrap junk and 50,000 litres of hydrogen. Welcome to the 1970s.
