Envoy tackles the new front in the fight against racism. We take an in-depth look at the impact of Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project on the current civil rights movement, the U.S. education system, and the church. At least a dozen states have legislation under consideration that bans this teaching from their schools, and Governors have already begun signing it into law. What's behind this push that some say replaces American history with ideology? Where does the truth lie and how should the church speak to this issue facing families across the nation?
Carrington speaks from his personal experience and provides critical insight on the integration of personal culture and faith that prioritizes the Kingdom above all else. Discover in this powerful episode how we can unite when the thirst for division is stronger than ever.

In this episode of From Behind the Veil, the team discusses the present conflict in Israel as rockets are launched from Gaza and Israel Defense Forces strike Hamas targets. We discuss the modern-day history of this ancient conflict, the biblical prophecies concerning the war to come, and what the church should be watching in this particular battle. Hear why this conflict should matter to believers today and how to have a Kingdom perspective rather than an American perspective concerning those most affected.

In this episode of From Behind the Veil, the team discusses the church’s involvement in politics. Recent public comments by pastors, and posts by religious leaders on social media, have seemingly deepened the mistrust between those that believe the country is going in the right direction and those that believe we are going in the wrong direction.  All the while, from Washington, DC, it looks like the church is growing into a national political movement with elected officials supporting the church’s positions and others opposing them. What role should the church have in politics?

In this episode, the team talks about the effect social media has on our faith. A generation is rising up with aspirations to become “social media influencers.” This dedication to social media can steal our focus as we live for the audience of many instead of the audience of One. Followers of Christ are designed to walk seamlessly in the natural and supernatural realms during our day. When we become so connected to our phones, do we miss the supernatural story line of our lives as we follow other peoples’ stories in our feed?

Envoy talks about how our nation’s politics have become sensationalized, meaning our way of government has been communicated to the masses in ways that evoke our emotions. Emotions are merely tools given to us by God. However, we shouldn’t be ruled by them. We discuss how the media plays to our emotions and even ask: has the church become emotionally driven or are we spiritually led?

We discuss the radical expansion of politics infiltrating every aspect of life in America and the very real effects on the cultural landscape of the nation. Politics has become the newest religion in America. As with many religions before it, today’s “Culture Crusaders” are setting out to defeat those in opposition to their political ideology. Not even America’s Past Time is exempt from their efforts. The team discusses the role believers need to take on in order to  establish a Kingdom Culture and resist the infiltration of this new religion into the church.

One year ago this week, our churches, workplaces and schools closed, and “social distancing” was born. As the world begins to re-open, we look back on how God moved through it all and what this new season means for the church. We’ll take you back to the original Passover. The similarities between the Exodus and today’s church are remarkable, and could be a prophetic sign of events to come.
