before you begin Series 2, here is an easy to chew digest of Series 1 'From Colchester to Sulawesi'...
The first day of Phil and Paula’s new lives and their new enterprise.
This is no longer a project on some far distant exotic shore, it’s Phil and Paula’s home, now, and this fact is beginning to find its way into their conscious thoughts.
When Bahowo Lodge gets going in its own right, its guests will use the dive centre, and thus will the arrangement continue to be symbiotic.
The text message from Oni is short, and to the point; it says simply ‘Tomorrow I am leaving to work in Surabaya.’ But one thing’s for sure: Oni has no intention of moving to Surabaya, or anywhere else.
The Manado police headquarters is a large, stark, imposing building, the inside of which it’s best not to see, unless your need is great.
Although Phil and Paula carry on regardless with their new lives, underlying all of it there still lies the matter of Oni, and their documents, and in particular the matter of land ownership.
