Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd y tywydd yn ddiflas ar fore cynoesaf gwrthbwysig yn Abertawe.
En: The weather was dreary on the morning of a compensatory eve in Abertawe.

Cy: Roedd glaw mân yn tipian yn gyson ar ffenestri mawr Amgueddfa Genedlaethol y Glannau, gan roi awyrgylch disgybledig a myfyriol i’r lle.
En: A gentle rain pattered consistently on the large windows of the Amgueddfa Genedlaethol y Glannau, giving the place a disciplined and contemplative atmosphere.

Cy: Cafodd Dafydd, Siân, a Gareth eu denu i mewn gan rywbeth aneglur, rhywbeth cyfarwydd ond newydd.
En: Dafydd, Siân, and Gareth were drawn in by something unclear, something familiar yet new.

Cy: Roedd Dafydd yn bensaer ifanc, ac erbyn hyn teimlai wedi mynd i ben draw ei braidd.
En: Dafydd was a young architect, and by now, he felt he had reached the end of his tether.

Cy: Roedd ei brosiectau diweddar yn ddiflas ganddo, dim byd yn tanio ei gyffro.
En: His recent projects were dull to him, nothing sparked his excitement.

Cy: Heddiw, roedd yn digwydd bod ger y fan hon gyda'i ffrindiau, a synhwyrai wirioneddol yr angen am ysbrydoliaeth.
En: Today, he happened to be near this place with his friends, and he truly sensed the need for inspiration.

Cy: "Beth am fynd i mewn?" awgrymodd Siân, pan aeth y glaw yn drymach.
En: "How about we go in?" suggested Siân, as the rain grew heavier.

Cy: Roedd Gareth yn cytuno, gyda thawelwch hyderus sefyllfa.
En: Gareth agreed with a quiet confidence of the situation.

Cy: Nid oedd unrhyw wyliau ofodol i ddathlu rŵan, dim pause o ddirywio'r olydd rhestr o waith llwyd Dafydd.
En: There were no spatial holidays to celebrate now, no pause from the deteriorating slate of Dafydd's gray work.

Cy: Ond efallai allai rhywbeth y tu mewn i’w ddenu i ddyfalu arall.
En: But perhaps something inside could entice him to reckon otherwise.

Cy: Aeth y tri i mewn.
En: The three went inside.

Cy: Dyna oedd rhodfa o hen bethau a thechnoleg newydd.
En: There was an avenue of old things and new technology.

Cy: Roedd y golau gwan yn adlamu ar oleuni’r ffenestri enfawr.
En: The dim light bounced off the enormous windows' light.

Cy: Wrth iddynt gerdded trwy bob ystafell, synhwyrai Dafydd ei galon yn dechrau chwibanu â diddordeb.
En: As they walked through each room, Dafydd felt his heart beginning to hum with interest.

Cy: Yn sydyn, safodd o flaen arddangosfa anferth.
En: Suddenly, he stopped in front of a massive exhibition.

Cy: Hefyd, roedd wedi'i threfu gyda haneseuon o gynlluniau pensaernïol o'r gorffennol a sut roeddent wedi troi i bontio'r dyfodol.
En: It was also arranged with stories of architectural plans from the past and how they had turned to bridge the future.

Cy: Roedd hi fel petai amser yn colli ei hystyr.
En: It was as if time had lost its meaning.

Cy: Am amrantiad, roedd yn teimlo fel plentyn mewn parc thema o syniadau.
En: For a moment, he felt like a child in a theme park of ideas.

Cy: Roedd yn gweld siapiau, llinellau a syniadau, pob un yn gwau'n hwylus.
En: He saw shapes, lines, and ideas, all weaving effortlessly.

Cy: Roedd pob troad o'i ben yn dod â barn newydd.
En: Every turn of his head brought a new perception.

Cy: Ac yna, daeth yr ysbrydoliad, yn sŵn tawel y glaw, ac alunion melltir i o'r dyddiau byrraf.
En: And then, inspiration came, in the quiet sound of the rain, and milestones of short days ahead.

Cy: Cododd ei lyfr braslunio, gwrthryn a esgeulustd gartref, ac fe ddechreuodd gopïo popeth a welodd.
En: He lifted his sketchbook, an object neglected at home, and began to copy everything he saw.

Cy: Dangosodd ei law du hen ffurfiau, nes bod ei tudalennau’n britho â sawl llun newydd.
En: His hand showed old forms, until his pages were mottled with several new drawings.

Cy: Roedd ei galon yn chwegrwn, yn mwynhau'r symudiad.
En: His heart was ablaze, enjoying the movement.

Cy: Pan oedd Dafydd yn barod i adael yr amgueddfa, roedd yn teimlo fel pe bai wedi cael trodd ar bwynt arall.
En: When Dafydd was ready to leave the museum, he felt like he had turned at a different point.

Cy: Edrychodd ar Siân a Gareth, "Dw i eisoes yn teimlo'n fywiog," dywedodd, llygad yn tywynu.
En: He looked at Siân and Gareth, "I already feel invigorated," he said, his eyes shining.

Cy: Gwenu, yr un eiliad rheswm i eirio sydd i Siân, “Diolch am ddod yma, Dafydd.”
En: Smiling, the same moment reason for words to Siân, “Thanks for coming here, Dafydd.”

Cy: Allforio’r swyngod o gyhuddo’r bore, roedd Dafydd yn barod ar gyfer ei brosiect nesaf.
En: Shedding the gloom of the morning, Dafydd was ready for his next project.

Cy: Cyferbynnodd yr ymroddiadau newydd a phuntio tuag at y wynebau feriora.
En: He contrasted the new commitments and pointed towards the smaller faces.

Cy: Roedd wedi adennill ei ffydd ac ysbrydoliaeth, roedd y ddinas yn aros am ei henw o dan amwygn i fod yn newid byd.
En: He had regained his faith and inspiration, the city awaited his name in the echo to be transformative.
