Chapter 13 marks a major shift as the church begins actively sending out missionaries. The Holy Spirit sets apart Barnabas and Saul for a new work, and they begin their first missionary journey, preaching the gospel to new regions and audiences.

Acts 12–13 reminds us that while opposition may come, God is still in control, and His mission continues to move forward through faithful, obedient believers who are willing to go where He calls them.

In this episode, we read Acts chapters 10 and 11, where a major turning point takes place in the early church. God reveals that the message of Jesus is not limited to one group of people, but is meant for all nations.

Through a vision given to Peter and the story of Cornelius, we see barriers being broken as the gospel reaches the Gentiles. The Holy Spirit is poured out on them just as it was on the Jewish believers, confirming that God shows no favoritism.

Chapter 11 continues with Peter explaining these events to others, leading to greater understanding and unity within the church. Acts 10–11 reminds us that God’s grace is for everyone, and that He often challenges our assumptions to expand our hearts and align us with His greater purpose.

In this episode, we read Acts chapter 9, where one of the most dramatic transformations in Scripture takes place. Saul, a fierce persecutor of the early church, encounters Jesus on the road to Damascus and is completely changed. This moment marks the beginning of his journey from opposition to faith, eventually becoming one of the most influential leaders in spreading the gospel.

We also see the role of Ananias, whose obedience and courage help restore Saul, showing how God uses ordinary people in extraordinary ways. The chapter continues with the growing impact of the church and miracles performed through Peter.

Acts 9 reminds us that no one is beyond God’s reach, and that a single encounter with Jesus can completely transform a life and redirect its purpose.

In this episode, we read Acts chapters 7 and 8, where the early church faces intense persecution, yet continues to grow and spread. Chapter 7 features Stephen’s powerful speech, recounting Israel’s history and boldly declaring the truth about Jesus, even in the face of opposition. His faithfulness ultimately leads to his martyrdom, making him the first to give his life for the message of Christ.

Chapter 8 shows how persecution, rather than stopping the church, actually causes the gospel to spread beyond Jerusalem. Philip brings the message to Samaria and later shares it with the Ethiopian official, demonstrating that the good news of Jesus is for all people.

Acts 7–8 reminds us that even in suffering, God’s mission moves forward, and that courage, faith, and obedience can have a lasting impact far beyond what we can see.

In this episode, we read Acts chapters 5 and 6, where the early church continues to grow, but also faces both internal challenges and external opposition. In chapter 5, we see a sobering moment as Ananias and Sapphira are confronted for their dishonesty, reminding us of the seriousness of integrity within the community of believers.

At the same time, the apostles continue performing signs and wonders, boldly preaching despite being arrested and warned by authorities. Their response shows unwavering obedience to God over human pressure.

In chapter 6, as the church expands, practical needs arise, leading to the appointment of leaders to serve and support the growing community. This allows the apostles to remain focused on prayer and teaching, while unity is preserved.

Acts 5–6 reminds us that a healthy church requires both spiritual power and faithful character, and that God continues to work through organized, unified, and obedient people.

In this episode, we read Acts chapters 3 and 4, where the early church begins to demonstrate the power and boldness given by the Holy Spirit. Peter and John heal a man who had been unable to walk, drawing a crowd and providing an opportunity to proclaim the message of Jesus.

As they boldly preach about Christ, opposition quickly arises from religious leaders who attempt to silence them. Yet Peter and John stand firm, declaring that they cannot stop speaking about what they have seen and heard.

Acts 3–4 reminds us that faith in Jesus is meant to be lived out boldly, even in the face of opposition, and that the power of the Holy Spirit enables believers to stand with courage, unity, and unwavering conviction.

In this episode, we begin the book of Acts by reading chapters 1 and 2, where the early church is set into motion. Jesus gives His final instructions to His disciples and ascends into heaven, promising that they will receive power through the Holy Spirit.

In chapter 2, that promise is fulfilled at Pentecost as the Holy Spirit comes upon the believers, empowering them to boldly proclaim the message of Jesus. Peter’s sermon leads to thousands coming to faith, and the early church begins to grow in unity, devotion, and purpose.

Acts 1–2 reminds us that the mission of Jesus continues through His followers, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and that God’s work moves forward when His people step out in faith and obedience.

In this episode, we read John chapters 20 and 21, bringing the Gospel of John to its powerful and hope-filled conclusion. These chapters focus on the resurrection of Jesus and His appearances to His followers, confirming that He has overcome sin and death.

We see the empty tomb, Jesus appearing to Mary Magdalene, and later to His disciples — including Thomas, who moves from doubt to belief. In chapter 21, Jesus restores Peter, reminding him of his calling and demonstrating grace, forgiveness, and purpose even after failure.

John 20–21 reminds us that the resurrection is not just an event, but an invitation to believe, to be restored, and to live with renewed purpose in following Jesus.

In this episode, we read John chapters 15 through 17, where Jesus shares some of His most personal and powerful teachings with His disciples before His arrest. He describes Himself as the true vine, calling His followers to remain in Him in order to bear fruit and live meaningful, faithful lives.

Jesus emphasizes love, obedience, and the work of the Holy Spirit, preparing His disciples for both the challenges ahead and the mission they are called to carry. In chapter 17, Jesus offers a heartfelt prayer — praying for His disciples and for all future believers — asking for unity, protection, and a deep relationship with God.

John 15–17 reminds us that true life is found in staying connected to Jesus, loving others as He has loved us, and trusting in God’s presence and purpose even in difficult seasons.
