Why not let me know what you're stopping doing after listening to this episode?
Laura Howe is your favourite international jet-setting divorcée!
Originally from the US, Laura moved to Lausanne, Switzerland, as soon as the ink on her dissolution of marriage decree was finalized. From there, she spent the next few years moving around the world–from Switzerland to Tokyo, Japan, and back to Switzerland, all with her cat, Minnie.
As the pandemic hit, Laura quit her high-powered job to finally address “what happened” during her marriage and how to build the life she always wanted.
Laura is the founder of Dispatched Divorcée, a global community to help women build, define, and thrive in their lives after divorce by providing the resources she wished she had when she went through it. She is fiercely motivated to make sure that no woman feels as lonely and lost as she did.
Here we talk all about divorce, advice if you're thinking of leaving a relationship, cocktails and embracing the Hot Mess phase!
In this conversation, Laura mentions the following books:
Animal Instinct by Amy Shearn
Anatomy of Love - Helen Fisher
If you want to see THE passport photo, read the post about Laura's divorce anniversary: The Day I Got Divorced

There might be the odd swear word in this one, so listen with headphones if there are littles around or you're in the office!

How many times have we said "I'll just do this first, and then I'll be ready..."?
I'll just get the qualification, and then...
I'll just get the logo right and then...
I'll just lose 6lbs and then...
I'm here to tell you to stop! If you wait til you feel ready, you'll just never do the thing!
For our last episode of the series, I'm setting you a challenge... are you ready to take it?!
We are caught in a spiral of second guessing, of overthinking, of not making the damn decision!
In this episode I'm sharing why making decisions as female founders can feel so bloomin' tricky.
Even if you're not a female founder, there are some nuggets in here that can help you finally make a decision.
Stay til the end. There's a key commitment that might make all the difference to the decision you're stuck on right now.

I'm talking female founders. I'm talking the blockers we put in our way. I'm talking about why men invest more in themselves than women do, with guilt as our blocker.
In this new episode of From Inside the Hive I'm sharing some of the conversations I've had this week about why it's so important that we are able to invest in ourselves, share our stories, admit our challenges, and find our bravery as female founders.
