In 2001, there were just two Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) on ASX. Today, ASX is the home of ETFs, with 223 ETFs available across a broad range of asset classes. As at 31 August 2021, ASX ETFs had over $122 billion in assets.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of ETFs, Martin chats to Meaghan Victor, Head of SPDR ETF Asia Pacific at State Street Global Advisers, to learn more about the ETF market’s origins and how it has evolved to become one of the most innovative tools to help investors build long-term wealth.
