Mrs. Shay Walters was just 15 years old when she first became involved with substance use, and it wouldn’t be until years later that she would finally overcome her addiction. Her story, however, is far from the only one like it. Millions of Americans currently struggle with addiction, which is why she founded the “From Prison to Purpose” Facebook group that now has half a million followers.
