Story Transcript:

Cy: Ym mynyddoedd eira'r gaeaf, roedd Bwthyn Mawr, cartref unig mewn bryniau serth Cwm Gwaun, wedi'i amgylchynu gan eira gwyn llachar.
En: In the snowy winter mountains, Bwthyn Mawr, a solitary home in the steep hills of Cwm Gwaun, was surrounded by bright white snow.

Cy: Tu mewn, roedd y tân yn fflamio'n gynnes yn y lle tân, gan daflu golau meddal ar y dodrefn pren henffasiwn.
En: Inside, the fire blazed warmly in the fireplace, casting a soft light on the old-fashioned wooden furniture.

Cy: Y tu allan, rhuodd y storm eira'n anniddig, gan orchuddio'r tir mewn mantell wyn fwrw.
En: Outside, the snowstorm roared restlessly, covering the land in a sweeping white mantle.

Cy: Roedd Rhys, y cogydd uchelgeisiol, yn edrych ar y silff yn y gegin siomedig.
En: Rhys, the ambitious cook, looked disappointedly at the shelf in the kitchen.

Cy: Dim ond ychydig gynhwysion oedd ar ôl iddo wneud pryd blasus.
En: Only a few ingredients were left for him to make a delicious meal.

Cy: "Bydd rhaid i mi greu rhywbeth anhygoel," meddai Rhys yn benderfynol.
En: "I will have to create something amazing," Rhys said determinedly.

Cy: Roedd llawer eisiau creu argraff ar Carys a'r hen Emrys.
En: He very much wanted to impress Carys and old Emrys.

Cy: Yn y gegin, roedd Carys yn datrys pos newydd, ei llygaid yn llachar gyda chyffro.
En: In the kitchen, Carys was solving a new puzzle, her eyes bright with excitement.

Cy: “Beth os defnyddiwn ni'r bisgedi cŵn hyn?” awgrymodd Emrys yn hwylus, ei lais yn llawn twyll fel bob amser.
En: “What if we use these dog biscuits?” Emrys suggested mischievously, his voice full of mischief as always.

Cy: “Beth am roi cynnig arni?”
En: “Why not give it a try?”

Cy: Wrth i Rhys agor y pantri bach, gwelodd lentils, tun o datws, rhyw ychydig o lysiau a rhywfaint o bara stêl, digon hen i ddefnyddio fel sylfaen ar gyfer archfarchnad newydd.
En: As Rhys opened the small pantry, he saw lentils, a can of potatoes, a few vegetables, and some steel bread, old enough to use as the foundation for a new supermarket.

Cy: “Iawn, gadewch i ni wneud arbrawf!” meddai Rhys yn awrach.
En: "Alright, let's experiment!" said Rhys promptly.

Cy: Ond gyda phob cam Rhys, daeth Sion, y ci defaid llafar, i mewn i’r gegin gan gafael ei wahardd.
En: But with every step Rhys took, in came Sion, the talkative sheepdog, into the kitchen holding him back.

Cy: “Wff, wff, wff!” roedd y ci’n cyfarth, gan ymddangos bron yn benderfynol o farnwriaeth chwaraeon.
En: “Woof, woof, woof!” barked the dog, almost appearing determined in sporting judgment.

Cy: “Rhys, mae'n rhaid i ti anwybyddu Sion,” meddai Carys, gan chwerthin.
En: “Rhys, you have to ignore Sion,” said Carys, laughing.

Cy: “Bydd rhaid iddo rwystredig beidio â chael ei rhan o'r gweithgarwch.”
En: “He'll just have to be frustrated by not getting his share of the activity.”

Cy: Osodi’r cynhwysion ar ben y bwrdd cegin, dechreuodd Rhys eu troi ychydig, yn canu rwtîn ganygaeth anarferol i ddod ag ysbrydoliaeth iddo.
En: Laying the ingredients on top of the kitchen table, Rhys began to stir them a little, singing an unusual routine to bring inspiration to him.

Cy: Ar ôl awr o fwrw ati, roedd pryd ogleisiol wedi'i ategu o'r diwedd.
En: After an hour of effort, a fragrant dish was finally complemented.

Cy: Ond, wrth i Rhys ddod â'r plât at y bwrdd, daeth Sion fel gwynt, yn neidio ac yn treisgar gafael yn y bwyd wedi'i baratoi.
En: But, as Rhys brought the plate to the table, Sion came like the wind, leaping and violently seizing the prepared food.

Cy: Yr hyn a ddilynodd oedd anhrefn lwyr.
En: What followed was complete chaos.

Cy: Gydag awgrym Carys, penderfynodd y tri ffrind droi at waith bwsio ar gyfer teisiach o'r peth y gellid o hyd i'w ddefnyddio.
En: With a suggestion from Carys, the three friends decided to turn to the work of busking for a more usable bounty.

Cy: Llenrodd popty’r bensaerniaeth gyda surphants.
En: The architectonics' oven filled with surphants.

Cy: Mafwyd ymlaen yn llawen swydd danchubber o'r bwthyn.
En: Rolled in joy a makeshift of the cottage.

Cy: Daeth heddych yn y tŷ i'r gorau, gan i bob un lifagu eich cesys.
En: Peace in the house returned as they all packed up their trifles.

Cy: Beth bynnag methai a allai.
En: Whatever one might fail at could.

Cy: Roedd creu eu gwers wrth gydweithio yn wirioneddol wych.
En: Creating their lesson through collaboration was truly outstanding.

Cy: Yn ddiweddarach, wrth iddynt eistedd o gwmpas y tân, nid yn unig wnaethant sylweddoli faint oeddent wedi mwynhau pryd o fwyd syml o ddeisebau, ond roeddent hefyd yn cyrhaeddi gweld yn ddiymwad bod cyfeillgarwch agos yn y gornel hon o'r byd.
En: Later, as they sat around the fire, they not only realized how much they had enjoyed a simple meal from clearings, but they also undeniably came to see that close friendship was in this corner of the world.
