  • The Legacy of Mingo Jack

In 1886 a crime was committed in Shrewsbury NJ.  The community response to the crime was to commit a more heinous and longer-lasting crime.  One that left a mark not only on the community but on the very land itself.

  • Asbury Park- The Wreck of The New Era

A shipwreck that left a lasting mark on the land itself. Long before there was the rise and fall and rise once again of Newjersey's iconic resort town there was a ship called the New Era, filled with hopeful immigrants seeking a new life in the United States.  Fate had a different idea for them.  The story is all but forgotten but for stormy nights when the sea is tossed..

The Wreck of the New Era was a tragedy that struck to the very core of the people who witnessed it, but it has been overshadowed by later shipwrecks. There are some who say, however, that the ship itself, still in the sand along the shore of Asbury Park's North Beach, is not ready to give up the ghost..or rather its ghosts.

  • The Spirits of Chichen Itza

This is my favorite ghost story of all.  A story of ancient spirits still active in our world and our time.  A story of history and learning and finally of respect.

Not a standard sit by the fire and have your pants scared off you, this story is a slow burn.  It makes sense and it gets under you skin.
