From the Frontline – The Antidote to the Ignorance and Stupidity Celebrated Today
In this episode of From the Frontline, we confront the growing celebration of ignorance, superficial thinking, and trut in modern society—and ask what Scripture identifies as the true source of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
Why does society increasingly reward slogans over serious thought, opinion over truth, and entertainment over education? How does the rejection of God’s Word contribute to moral confusion, intellectual decline, and hardened hearts? Drawing from Scripture, this discussion examines the biblical contrast between wisdom and foolishness, humility and pride, discernment and deception.
The episode also presents a practical antidote: the disciplined pursuit of truth through Scripture, reading, study, libraries, and reliable Christian literature. Libraries are described as gymnasiums for the mind, armouries for spiritual warfare, and sanctuaries for serious study—equipping believers to think clearly, defend the Faith, prepare for ministry, and resist the superficiality of the age.
We also explore why books and printed literature remain essential in the digital era. The written word can cross borders, endure beyond a single generation, speak where the human voice cannot, and continue teaching long after the author is gone.
Finally, the programme highlights practical initiatives such as Literature4Africa, Christian Liberty Books, and digital library projects that are providing Bibles, theological resources, educational materials, and discipleship tools to pastors, teachers, missionaries, students, and prisoners throughout Africa.
A challenging and encouraging call to reject intellectual laziness, redeem the time, renew the mind, and become a lifelong student of God’s Word.
“The entrance of Your Words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” – Psalm 119:130
From the Frontline – Setting the Captives Free from Human Trafficking: Modern-Day Slavery
In this episode of From the Frontline, we expose one of the greatest humanitarian crimes of our age—human trafficking and modern-day slavery. Although many believe slavery ended in the nineteenth century, millions of men, women, and children remain trapped in forced labour, sexual exploitation, debt bondage, and human trafficking across the world today.
We examine the realities of Modern slavery in Africa and beyond, including the resurgence of slave markets under extremist groups, the exploitation of vulnerable women and children, and the international networks that profit from human misery. The discussion also explores the often-overlooked history of slavery, comparing different slave trades throughout history while highlighting the continuing need to confront injustice wherever it exists today.
Closer to home, we consider evidence of human trafficking in South Africa, including cases of labour and sexual exploitation, and discuss how criminal syndicates prey upon the vulnerable. We also examine the responsibility of governments, churches, and ordinary citizens to expose these crimes and stand with those who cannot defend themselves.
Most importantly, we ask: What is the Christian response? Scripture calls believers to defend the oppressed, rescue those in danger, expose the works of darkness, and proclaim the freedom found in Jesus Christ. The Gospel not only transforms hearts—it compels us to seek justice and mercy for those held captive.
A sobering yet hope-filled conversation calling Christians to stand against exploitation and become instruments of God's justice, compassion, and freedom.
"Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." – Ephesians 5:11
From the Frontline – Should Medically Assisted Suicide Be Legalised and Categorised as Health Care?
In this episode of From the Frontline, we examine one of the most significant ethical and medical debates of our time: Should physician-assisted suicide be legalised and classified as healthcare? Drawing on biblical principles, international developments, and medical ethics, we explore what is at stake when society redefines the role of doctors from preserving life to intentionally ending it.
We discuss the rapid expansion of euthanasia and medically assisted dying laws around the world, including developments in Canada, Europe, Australia, and elsewhere, and consider the arguments both for and against legalisation. What lessons can be learned from countries where assisted dying has already become part of the healthcare system? Are there dangers in broadening the criteria for euthanasia over time?
The conversation also examines the Christian understanding of the sanctity of human life, compassionate end-of-life care, palliative medicine, and the difference between allowing natural death and intentionally causing death. We reflect on the dignity and value of every person—regardless of age, disability, or illness—and why Scripture teaches that life is a gift entrusted to us by God.
Finally, we consider how Christians can respond with truth, compassion, and practical care for those facing terminal illness, depression, or despair, while supporting families and medical professionals who seek to uphold the highest standards of ethical healthcare.
A thoughtful and compassionate discussion on life, death, dignity, and the hope found in Christ.
"Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter." – Proverbs 24:11–12
From the Frontline – The Catastrophic Consequences of King Charles Violating His Coronation Oath
In this episode of From the Frontline, we examine the constitutional, historical, and theological questions surrounding the role of the British monarch and the significance of the Coronation Oath.
What does it mean for the Sovereign to be the "Defender of the Faith" and the Supreme Governor of the Church of England? What are the implications of recent statements describing the monarch as a protector of a multi-faith society? Has there been a departure from the historic constitutional relationship between the British Crown and the Christian faith?
We explore the historical foundations of the monarchy, the legal significance of coronation vows, and the biblical importance of keeping solemn oaths. Looking back at the reign of King Charles I and the constitutional crises of the 17th century, we consider how history may help us understand the challenges facing Britain today.
This episode also examines the wider implications for the United Kingdom's constitutional identity, the Church of England, and the responsibilities of national leaders before God.
A thought-provoking discussion on faith, history, constitutional government, and the enduring importance of honouring one's word.
"When a man makes a vow to the LORD or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he must not break his word; he must do everything he has promised." – Numbers 30:2
From the Frontline – Marches and Threats Against Foreigners in South Africa: A Christian Response to Xenophobia
In this episode of From the Frontline, we examine the growing tensions surrounding anti-foreigner protests and threats of violence in South Africa, asking how Christians should respond in a time of fear, uncertainty, and division.
We explore the underlying causes of xenophobia, including regional instability, economic hardship, illegal immigration, and the collapse of neighbouring states that have driven millions to seek refuge in South Africa. Rather than simply reacting to the headlines, we consider the deeper social, political, and spiritual issues contributing to this crisis.
Most importantly, we turn to Scripture for guidance. What does God's Word teach about our responsibility toward foreigners, refugees, and strangers living among us? How do we balance justice, compassion, the rule of law, and love for our neighbour? Drawing from both the Old and New Testaments, we examine the biblical call to reconciliation, mercy, and equal justice under God's law.
This episode challenges believers to reject hatred and prejudice while working for biblical justice, lasting solutions, and the spread of the Gospel—both in South Africa and throughout the nations of Africa.
A timely and thought-provoking discussion on immigration, compassion, justice, and the Christian response to one of South Africa's most pressing challenges.
"You shall neither mistreat a stranger, nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt." – Exodus 22:21
From the Frontline – The New World Disorder: Agenda, Ideology, and the Future of Christian Civilization
In this episode of From the Frontline, we examine the growing political, cultural, and spiritual turmoil affecting many Western nations and explore the ideas, ideologies, and movements that some believe are contributing to the erosion of Christian civilization.
From debates over national identity, mass migration, and global governance, to the influence of secular humanism, Marxist thought, and religious pluralism, this discussion considers the forces reshaping modern society and the challenges facing the Church in the 21st century.
We look at historical developments that transformed the Western world, the impact of world wars, cultural revolutions, educational trends, and changing moral values. The episode also explores concerns about the role of media, politics, education, and religious institutions in shaping public opinion and influencing future generations.
Most importantly, we focus on the Christian response. How should believers engage with a rapidly changing culture? What role do discipleship, Christian education, evangelism, strong families, biblical worldview training, and faithful church leadership play in preserving truth and advancing the Kingdom of God?
This is a thought-provoking conversation about faith, culture, history, and the responsibility of Christians to stand firm, think biblically, and faithfully fulfill the Great Commission in challenging times.
“In the time of those kings, the God of Heaven will set up a Kingdom that will never be destroyed.” – Daniel 2:44
From the Frontline – Pride Goes Before Destruction
In this episode of From the Frontline, we examine one of the most destructive sins identified in Scripture: pride. In a culture that increasingly celebrates self-exaltation and personal autonomy, what does the Bible teach about humility, wisdom, and the danger of pride?
Drawing from both Old and New Testament examples, we explore how pride led to the downfall of individuals, leaders, kingdoms, and nations. From Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar, and Herod, to the warnings of Christ concerning the Pharisees and the Church of Laodicea, Scripture consistently reveals that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.
The discussion also considers the modern celebration of pride, the consequences of rejecting God's authority, and the importance of cultivating humility, teachability, and obedience to God's Word. We examine why pride is often the root of many other sins and why true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord.
A timely and challenging conversation calling Christians to reject self-glorification, embrace biblical humility, and find their identity in Christ alone.
“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” – Proverbs 16:18
From the Frontline – Ebola in the Congo: Excuses & Other Obstacles to Missions
In this episode of From the Frontline, we examine the challenges facing missionary work in one of the most remote and neglected mission fields on earth—the Congo River Basin. From fears surrounding disease outbreaks and security concerns to resistance from within Christian circles, we explore the obstacles that often stand in the way of taking the Gospel to unreached people.
Drawing on reports from the field, we discuss the realities of ministry in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where millions of people living along the Congo River remain difficult to reach and often have little access to biblical resources, discipleship, and Christian literature. We also consider the vital role of missionaries, Bible distribution, and leadership training in areas where modern technology alone cannot meet the need.
The conversation broadens to address a timeless question: how should Christians respond to fear, uncertainty, and opposition when carrying out the Great Commission? We reflect on biblical principles of courage, perseverance, and faithfulness, and why obstacles should be seen not as reasons to retreat, but opportunities to trust God and press forward.
The episode also includes reflections from a recent ministry visit to the United States, highlighting opportunities for preaching, discipleship, pro-life outreach, media engagement, and encouraging believers to understand the times and respond biblically.
A challenging and inspiring discussion on missions, faith, perseverance, and the urgent need to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
“So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please.” – Isaiah 55:11
From the Frontline – The Case for an Independent Cape of Good Hope
In this episode of From the Frontline, we examine the growing discussion surrounding the possibility of an independent Cape of Good Hope and the broader question of self-determination in South Africa.
Why are increasing numbers of people considering Cape independence? Is such a vision legally, economically, and politically possible? We explore historical and contemporary examples of successful secessions around the world, along with the constitutional, economic, and practical arguments often raised in support of decentralisation and regional self-governance.
The conversation also considers whether there is a biblical foundation for self-determination, how liberty and accountable government relate to Scripture, and what principles should guide a society seeking freedom, stability, and prosperity.
From economics and infrastructure to referendums, governance, and community responsibility, this episode provides a thought-provoking look at one of the most debated political ideas in modern South Africa.
A challenging discussion on liberty, self-governance, and the future of the Cape.
