I was taught as a youth to forgive and forget. Just like millions of other things, I received only the end game. I was given the WHAT, HOW is the unanswered question. So in my mind I would say it starts with a simple "hey i apologize i was wrong please forgive me" and then it goes toward the end. As i stated earlier in my mind. Some may believe that no apology is required. Teach me how to do not what to do.

Tonight we we're going to discuss some thoughts that may run through our minds. "Is it me or am I trippin" is a question that everyone has asked at some point in our life. Let's talk about these things, you may find out that you're not the only one with those thoughts and or that you're not "trippin".

I remember when we took pride in what we do. We go the store we (people) were... put together. You went to your child(ren) school you were... put together. The children left the house the were clean and matching just like the parent that they were being accompaning by. Nowadays people are walking out and about in pajamas, hair bonnets and other articles of clothing that's supposed to be worn in the house (well so i was taught). The standard of conduct, the standard of pride, the standard of humanity has been lowered to a dismal state. We must regain our rightful place as leaders and hold ourselves accountable for things not turning around. It seems as though we're being lead by the blind. Let's reclaim our rightful position and lead with dignity. And watch everyone else follow suit.

Everyday people watch how you dress, how you walk, how you interact with others, the way you sit and they listen to how you speak. They learn from the example that you're demonstrating. You can negatively impact someone by them hearing you say phrases like "I give up" or "I can't" or "I quit" even. Just like you can have a positive impact with phrases like "I got this" or "I'm winning" or  "I can do it". There's power in the tongue. There's also power in your action. When someone sees you what impact will you have on them?

When two people are on the same mission and have one understanding. they are evenly yoked. now a yoke is a wooden crosspiece that is fastened over the necks of two animals and attached to the plow or cart that they are to pull. synonyms:harness, collar, coupling, tackle, tack, equipagea part of a garment that fits over the shoulders and to which the main part of the garment is attached, typically in gathers or pleats. Are you carrying your weight are you just along for the ride?

At time we want to be recognized for what we do. It helps feed our EGO. The issue comes when we praise our own self. I was told that praises should come from someone else rather than out of your own mouth. That iron sharpens iron. If two people have similar thoughts and similar understandings then going back and forth hashing out thoughts and ideas will sharpen each other. Trying to sharpen your sword against cotton will not have a sharpening effect, in fact it will dull the sword.

The path that I have traveled is narrow. Everyone won't understand the destination nor the route that's taken. Some will say that I'm crazy. Some have told me that it's not worth it. Some have even try to convince me that where I am currently is good enough. When you continue about your mission, here comes the hate seeds of doubt, the adjectives like ungrateful and disloyal start to be associated with your name. Then they recruit help, let's face it inferior people need help, even to hate. And I'm talking about just trying to better yourself, better your situation, and even better your relationship with GOD. You can't please everybody. Same coin flip side.... Now we want to compete with one another. Everyone want your position without the work that you put in. And now adult males are sneeking around, trying to creep on a come up. While REAL men work to come up. It's MY time to shine.

Every person gets tired in life and want to give up. Want to give up on your vision, gets tired of their struggle, get tired of having to crawl out of the hole. Then we call on GOD. We then ask GOD for direction, ask GOD for help, we ask GOD for strength. Then we rely on faith, being mindful that faith doesn't make things easy...it makes them possible. So when you're running low on faith and your "check faith light" come on, who repairs your faith. How do you tune-up your faith?

Everyone has thoughts about the time frame that the country opens back up. Maybe this is the new level of operation. My faith tells me that this isn't going anywhere but neither is God, he isn't sleep and he isn't on vacation. Meaning he's still true to his promises. Commit thy works unto the lord and all thy thoughts shall be established. Keep your faith and he'll keep his promise.

 Adversity comes in different forms, race, sexual orientation, finances etc. Although it is inevitable that we will have our share throughout life. In order to grow from it we must first go through it. It was said by Dr. King "the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." So don't avoid the rain drops go through storm and when you make it on the other side enjoy the flowers. It takes true strength to go through it not to avoid it. Just remember: Adversity is not your adversary. It is your promissory. After you pass the test, then come the promotion.
