Self-esteem, self-importance, self-worth, self-conceit...these terms means the same thing as EGO. Now what is EGO, the "I" or self of any person; a person as thinking, feeling and willing, and distinguishing itself from the selves of others and from objects of its thought. Also, the part of the mind that mediates between the conscience and the unconscience and is responsible for reality testing and a sense of personal identity. One could believe that having an inflated EGO could be counterproductive to ALL things outside of yourself. Again I ask, how far could WE go without our EGO?
