NOTE: IN APRIL OF 2019, THIS JANE DOE WAS IDENTIFIED AS ANNIE LEHMAN OF ABERDEEN, WASHINGTON. THIS EPISODE WAS RECORDED BEFORE THE IDENTIFICATION.
In August of 1971, a father and son camping along the Redwood Highway in Josephine County, Oregon located human remains. The body had been carefully placed; however because of the length of time it had been at the location, animal activity had been present since bones were also found within a certain radius. Someone had intentionally placed her body at the location in an effort to conceal her death. Clothing found at the scene also showed evidence of this. Until her identification in 2019, no one could figure out who she was, and theories abounded this woman's case. Jason examines the Annie Doe case, and also plays special snippets from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's web video on this case. ALSO: Nici Vance of the Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office explains the results of Annie's isotope results.
