Hosts, Jess and Shannon, sit down with Fish, a well-known radio personality, for an exclusive interview. Fish opens up like never before, sharing about the loss of his dear friend and on-air colleague, Connie.
Together, Connie and Fish had entertained audiences with their popular radio show, reaching listeners in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Mississippi. However, their partnership was tragically cut short when Connie lost her battle with liver cancer in 2021.
During our interview, Fish recounts a funny story of how he and Connie first crossed paths, their instant connection, and the bond they developed over time. In addition to sharing his memories, Fish also revealed some beliefs around the existence of spirits and the afterlife. If you know Fish, you know of course he included humor while discussing the possibility of connecting with departed loved ones through mediums, and shedding light on his own experiences.
Through this heartfelt and hilarious interview, Fish not only honored the memory of his cherished best friend but also provided a glimpse into the profound connection they shared. His words will resonate with listeners - reminding them of the power of friendship, the fragility of life, and the hope that exists beyond the veil of death - of course, all while including lots of laughter!

Join hosts Jess and Shannon's husbands as they steal the mic for the fourth time. Prepare to be humored by their opinions on mediums, spirits, and religious beliefs. They contemplate their own mortality and burial vs cremation. Ben and Boy Jess agree that we are all made of energy, and the choices we make regarding our bodies after death may not ultimately matter.
Listeners will learn that Boy Jess had previously sought out mediums for mere entertainment purposes. Yet, something has shifted within him, and he now carries a deeper belief in their abilities to communicate with spirits.
Ben contemplates the existence of aliens and ponders whether the government is aware of their presence. In his imagination, these aliens possess extraordinary superpowers. The conversation takes a lighter turn as the topics of giants, Bigfoot, time travelers, and underwater cities arise. Later they discuss the possibility of a next life and the potential for being reincarnated as a dog or even a bird. The boys agree that belief in something greater can bring peace during the final moments of life.
The duo concludes their discussion by expressing their openness to exploring new churches and the unique energy that comes from gathering together in a community.

Join hosts Shannon and Jess as they sit down with their guest, Terri, for an eye-opening and deeply impactful interview. Terri's childhood was marked by numerous traumatic events, and listeners should be prepared to hear her share these stories as she bravely answers questions from the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) quiz.
From a young age, Terri experienced the pain of feeling abandoned. She witnessed her mother being physically abused and endured the sexual abuse of a stepfather. Her mother's struggle with alcoholism further added to the feeling of not being safe and secure. As if that wasn't enough, Terri also had to cope with attending 21 different schools and facing food insecurities.
These early experiences left Terri feeling unsettled throughout much of her adulthood. Terri's adult journey involved two subsequent marriages, struggles with alcoholism, and difficulties making genuine connections. With determination and the love for her daughters as her driving force, Terri sought help. She attended the Betty Ford Center for a 28-day inpatient program, entering with a smile on her face, ready to face her demons.
Terri's journey towards recovery involves a shift in mindset. She feels blessed to have a wonderful family. Join Shannon, Jess, and Terri as they delve into her remarkable story of resilience, growth, and the power of love. Prepare to be inspired and reminded that our past does not have to define our future.

Your hosts, Shannon and Jess, are back to kick off the second season of From There, To Here. In this episode, we dive deeper into our beliefs surrounding death and an afterlife. Our show's title, From There, To Here, suggests the existence of a definitive "here" and implies that it is the ultimate destination. However, the enlightened hosts firmly believe that this "here" is not the end, but rather a continuation, an eternal cycle of life. After immersing ourselves in the profound insights shared by the gifted medium, Mamakeeya, we find ourselves compelled to explore the ethereal realm further. Join us as we recount our personal encounters with spirits and candidly discuss our individual beliefs regarding the mysteries that unfold when we depart from this earthly existence. Reincarnation, the eternal dichotomy of heaven and hell, the concept of a divine entity, and the intricate tapestry of religion all find their place in this captivating episode. We engage in an enlightening conversation on how we can guide our children to discover their own path in life, without imposing preconceived notions upon them, allowing them the freedom to think and feel authentically.

Hi, I'm a proud single ginger mama of my beautiful and amazing daughters Gia & Raven! Not to mention I’m a “Cat Lady” too of 2 fur-balls Crunchy & Stinky. I love decorating, strength training, camping, riding on a Harley, watching reruns of “Law & Order SVU” like ALL THE TIME & spending quality time with my friends and family! My go to stress relief is dancing and I don’t care if I look like a dork doing it..haha! As long as Brad Pitt thinks I look good, that’s all that matters! My passion in life is philanthropic work, whether it’s ridding the stigma of mental health, brining awareness to stopping sexual abuse, LGBTQIA, blood cancer, stopping child abuse, or poverty. I’ve had the blessing of being on this wonderful ride in radio for 23 years also enjoying being a TV host on TVW! What I love most about being in entertainment is hanging out with YOU ALL!
