Entrepreneur Sam Bashiry talks to real estate guru Kosi Stobbs about building a business out of experience and opportunity.
At a young age Kosi discovered the link between hard work and success, a crucial event leading to his "I can do it" mentality he maintains to this day. This was after constant grief from his class mates over his lack of grammar skills. He changed all of this by working twice as hard as everyone else. By doing this he got into engineering at university, this set the tone for his life.
Kosi knew he could out work the rest, He didn't need much sleep which gave him more time to study. He went from not being able to make a speech to receiving honours in engineering.
Kosi explains how he used his losses as fuel to move forward and flourish. He never once reached a summit which made him continue to strive towards bigger and bigger things.
After receiving devastating news from his parents that his older brother had passed away, this broke Kosi. However, this made him want to live his brothers legacy by building an empire and charity in his name. He states that this is how he once again turned a negative into a positive.
Kosi bought his first property when he was 22, and by the time he was 30 he had 20 properties. He then started to acquire business to scale.
