  • #CREATIVES: Roy Worley

....Welcome back to the #2NDWAVE of the #CREATIVES series....

Ten guests, ten interviews, ten different people to learn from!

On this episode, I interviewed Roy Worley, a former pastor who pivoted to the world of voice over!

Roy and I talked about the audition process for voice overs, some of his favorite voice actors, some of the weirdest jobs he's done so far (that he still enjoyed!), what the #GoldenHandcuff club is, some of his most rewarding voice over experiences since he's been in the biz, how to pay it forward in the VO world, and of course, there's a little part towards the end where we delve a bit into movies and why we're not the biggest fans of our heroes being deconstructed!

I also learned during this conversation that I too am part of the brotherhood & sisterhood of voice talent! Another title to add to the resume!

Come for the facts and information about the voice over business, stay for me jumping to a conclusion that was not at all accurate!

    Hope you enjoy the episode!

Memphis, TN and Illinois - get involved!

  • #CREATIVES: Chrystal Orduz: Innerview

....Welcome back to the #2NDWAVE of the #CREATIVES series....

Ten guests, ten interviews, ten different people to learn from!

On this episode, I talk with Chrystal Orduz from Long Beach, California and we took a different path than I normally do with the other #CREATIVES I spoke with so far.  The creative process wasn't the focus today but we found a way to drive this thing towards #Innovation!

We discussed the human experience, both good and bad and covered the importance of mental and physical health, selfishness and not looking back on life with regrets.

Just two up and coming podcasters bouncing ideas off of each other, finding our way through this process, overcoming trauma and sharing experiences to this point.

    Long Beach, stand up!

  • The Least Listened To Episode feat. Jim The Podcast Sherpa

The title's a bit pessimistic, yes...but it was the guest's idea! And who am I to go against my guest's wishes?

Welcome to a special holiday episode of From Where I Sit!

Today's guest, Jim the Podcast Sherpa, is the host of three podcasts: the Sherpa Screening Room, the Expert Factory and Too Many Podcasts!

I did a guest spot for him that debuted a couple months back (I'm sure you heard it, right? RIGHT????) and now the favor has been returned with Jim doing his very first podcast interview with yours truly!

The self-proclaimed "WalMart greeter of Podcastia" talks about how long he's been podcasting, his fight with Facebook, some of his favorite actors and actresses, hearing guests he's interviewed on other people's platforms,  and his ultimate goal in podcasting.

Come to hear about  the regimented daily life, stay for the "beef" with a mutual guest of ours and fellow podcaster, KC Gonzalez
