My second guest, Nathalie, a YouTuber, has been someone I wanted to talk to ever since I got this podcast up and running but we finally made it happen!

She's a multi-talented, eclectic content creator who's been kickin' it in South Korea for the past 5 years. A self-starter with an eye for style, design and presentation, Nathalie creates videos that harness a wealth of experiences and loves,  execute her creative vision and sprinkle in her effervescent personality to boot.

I'd originally planned on doing a full show breakdown of House of Cards after binge watching in February but 73 episodes broken down in one podcast episode, solo? That was too big a bite for even me to chow down on!

So I decided to break off a manageable piece and talked about one of it's main characters: the mercurial, magnetic Claire Underwood.

(Please be warned there are some spoilers here for those that haven't seen the show!)

My sixth and final step in this series led me to Dawn Bates, performance coach, mentor, best-selling author, and ghost writer who has a bead on becoming a ship captain!

I caught up with Dawn fresh off of 84 days at sea in Chile (!!!)(Isn't the internet an amazing thing??!)

We talked about her desire to live at sea since the age of 8, the MANY steps necessary to become a captain of a vessel, her fascination with travel and being location-free, Dawn's take on "kidnappings", the unconscious conscious creation process, how writing 1000 words becomes a breeze when you learn to focus on everything but the number and why it's a grave error to underestimate someone who laughs a lot...No worries. No Joker references here!

My fifth step led me to Tara Jacobsen, rebel entrepreneur with 19 years of marketing experience, Etsy store owner, author and a mother of 3! 

So many hats to wear! Only one head!

Tara definitely provides the listeners with a heaping helping of knowledge in her own very particular, direct way. We talked about what her four main priorities are, the many starts and stops she's made along the way, and how creativity is involved in almost every aspect of her daily life!

My fourth step led me to Wendi Michelle, an entrepreneur, published author, Precision Wellness Specialist, Health Advocate, food and supplement formulator and hope expert, just to name a few of her jobs!

I caught up with her in transit, so on this call we talked about a variety of topics. Wendi talked about why mental health is #1 and when does she find the time for rest and relaxation in her busy schedule.  Also discussed was how modern medicine may (or may not) have failed us as a society, some of her interests musically, a brief but informative bit on the highlights of Nashville, Tennessee (for those may want to visit but never have, like myself!) and some general wellness tips for the listeners out there!

 We also talked about the expanded idea of what a creative person actually is!

My third step led me to Jeremiah Craig, a balladeer, song-writer and folk music enthusiast located currently in Boston.

We talked about keeping imaginations engaged, the inspiration to create music, self-imposed time limits, Jeremiah's early performance spaces, his creative process with his new bandmates, The Rusty Crowbars and a comparison of the music scenes in Seattle and Boston. 

An enjoyable time was had talking with Jeremiah and he's definitely got a fan in me of what he does!
