From Where I Sit Podcast

Fortune favors the bold and starting this #CREATIVES series took some big steps on my part!

My second step led me to KC, a chef, YouTuber, photographer, podcaster and co-creator, vocalist and guitarist in the band, Sunday Brave.

We covered all pages of the menu talking about a wide variety of topics, including: how creative pursuits outside the kitchen keep KC focused in it, mumble rap just might be the punk rock of its era, the importance of DragonBall growing up (and anime in general), how chefs create the specials, a new classification of music called Groove Rock and a few cooking tips to keep your taste buds in heaven and your work in the kitchen efficient!

It was a blast to chat KC up and I'm sure you'll enjoy the finished product. He's very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft and he drops gems throughout!

Fortune favors the bold and starting this #CREATIVES series took some big steps on my part!

My first step led me to an amazing opportunity to sit down with and talk to the lyricist, pianist, vocalist, guitarist and composer Grettch to pick her brain on a multitude of topics.

We discussed creating art for the future, talked about some of our favorite musical artists and the eye opening versatility of Skrillex, how we feel about New York, what it's like being your own worst critic and much, much more!

Sit back, get comfortable and hear the warmth and positive energy simply radiating from this conversation. I definitely hope to have Grettch back on the show to break down a potential GrettchFest!

You can learn more about Grettch at her website - grettch.com - or you can visit her Instagram @grettch_

Season 1 of FWISPC comes to a close with this particular episode! But fear not, listener, season 2 will be here much sooner than you think!

I take a humble victory lap for my work in podcasting during 2019, have an impromptu review session of some Star Wars films I saw recently (with MILD SPOILERS), give a little advice on the topic of communication and finish it out with some well wishes and a new mantra for 2020

An informal recording about a recent removal of negativity from my life that turned into an opportunity for positive energy to work its magic!

Things take an interesting turn in the final segment but I made sure to be true to self there, with no additives, no fillers and no cliches!

Enjoy!

A quick heads up to those haven't seen the movie as of yet, *SPOILERS CONTAINED WITHIN*

A review by yours truly of Joker.

My thoughts on the acting, directing and certain scenarios put forth on celluloid.

The Russian Judge was tough yet fair but I'm certain I zigged when many in the culture zagged when it came to this film.

Enjoy!

Just a quick podcast about me and my history with scary films.

Short, sweet and to the point, I give you my two cents on where I got the horror bug, when I had to take a break from the genre in general and what name I simply cannot say in a mirror three times!!!

It's not who you think!

On today’s episode we finally dive into a subject I enjoy talking about but haven’t talked about so far, SPORTS.

Specifically, tanking in major league sports.

I talk about what it is, why it's not all it's cracked up to be and what we, as fans, can do about it!

This is just a topic I wanted to speak on a bit during Episode 4 but couldn't really find a place for it so I recorded this separately and uploaded

It tackles a recent sports talk show's decision to insinuate someone wasn't able to speak on a situation because they hadn't lived a life that was equivalent to their struggle so I spoke on it.

Not too much editing...just as raw a response on a topic as one can have with a little bit of time to process everything..
