I ask the guys this week to talk about the Gathering Storm Book II specifically for us to determine if it gave Harlequins what they need to be competitive outside of the Reborn Warhost Detachment.
Hey Everyone,
I am long time fan of Harlequins. They were my first army. I remember going to the game store and asking if they had any Eldar. They said no but they did have this box of Harlequins that were almost Eldar. I bought them and I was hooked.
This was back in the day when you could field 15,000 points with just a handful of models. The Harlequins didn’t disappoint and they were exactly what I needed to match up against my buddies.
I don’t want to spoil the episode but we do dissect the Soulburst – Strength from Death – rule. Sadly, I don’t think the Harlequins are going to return to their ancient glory in the Reborn Warhost but the new HQ models this books gives them may help them bring some new life to the humble Combined Arms Detachment.
The Finishing Moves segment is sponsored by Frontline Gaming. They have a ton of good stuff coming out over the next few month and we are excited to be a part of helping them promote it and their events.
Our hobby talk is intertwined with the show this week but please check out Frontline and their AWESOME new range of mats. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – these mats are the easiest and best way to pro up your gaming table. Your figures really do glide across the surface and your friends will be impressed.

Forge the Narrative is mostly a Warhammer 40k Podcast. Each episode is about an hour long. This ideally gives you something neat to listen to on your way to work, or on the way back home. Maybe you can even listen while you are painting or modeling!
