Episode 8: I have the privilege of working with many people online.  Facilitation is a wonderful way to bring ideas out in the open and help someone practice building their creative muscle. This episode is titled The Value of Story in The Art of Selling.

While storytelling is not limited to any endeavor, in sales it is essential in the building of rapport. Fuel for Faith episodes are directed at a global audience. My vision for these episodes is an open exchange of thoughts and ideas.  I want to surprise your understanding and stretch your imagination. No one has “all the answers” and I believe because we do not, we all have a unique way of putting our thoughts and ideas together.  Therefore, I will take the risk of being understood and misunderstood.  Every circumstance has similar components that place emphasis on various subjects.  The words I use and live by, like everyone else, are there to be used to say something.

Episode 7 is about supervision and not limited to the workplace. Supervision is practiced wherever there is human interaction. If you are a supervisor or aspire to become one, this will apply directly to you. Everyone has strengths and hopes, dreams in their life and work. It is what makes the episode helpful for everyone. Supervision includes parenting, self-awareness, caring for the needs of others. Supervision is in the Bible in 1st Peter 5:2-3

Episode Six: Spring cleaning is an endeavor. As a metaphor, your brain is constantly sorting and shifting your thoughts. This episode capsulizes an effort that is really “ongoing” and ever changing. You have so much potential, untapped and ready to push you to a new and unique place of presence to the moment. Episode Four: There are moments we all look back on and think, "I wish I hadn’t said that." The sting of those words often lingers because we recognize, too late, the impact they had. But here's the truth: we couldn’t have said anything different at that moment—not yet. Why? Because we hadn’t learned the deeper lesson, one that only comes through spaced repetition, hearing, practicing, failing, and trying again. The habit of impulsively saying what we later regret is often just that: a habit, reinforced over time. And like any habit, breaking it requires intentional effort. Episode Three: Fuel for Faith episode Three has a twist.  There are bumps on the road of life. Difficult people seem to be a bump we all will run into someplace sometime. A “difficult” person is based upon a personal impression.  Does it sound strange to view difficulty as an impression we find uncomfortable? Emotion is always in the details of difficult behavior. The drastic approaches typically fail.  Is there a better way to manage frustrating interactions?  Is coping with difficult people worth the effort? I believe it is; they are God’s love tests.

Tune in, listen and you may find an insight that gives you hope for brighter and happier outcomes   Insights are choices to choose or not choose for yourself.  To act on an insight has the potential to make a way to better possibilities.  You can bring peace to intensity and strengthen your ability to communicate.    Remember the word impossible starts with “I’m”. “I’m possible”. Have faith!

Episode Two: In a conversational setting, are you offended by someone who may have an opinion that doesn’t match your own?  Have you been in a meeting where you formed an opinion before the person who was talking stopped?  Why?... because you or someone else jumped in before they finished their sentence. Was what they wanted to say drowned out because of the interruption? Are you a talker or a listener?  Being able to do both is so important. In this episode you will discover the value of listening, reflecting, and commenting to build confidence in your communication skills. It can help you tap into an excellent approach to your next conversation, be it important or casual.

Episode One: When you learn to walk, you take baby steps.  Parents get excited when they see those first steps taken. Regardless of our age…life is a series of steps on the path we walk in this world. Don't take it for granted.  You and I take one step at a time on the path to go further on the lifelong journey.
