Shares of Chinese investing giant Evergrande plunged as much as 14 percent after a $2.6 billion sale fell through at the last minute, and the massive Chinese company is now on the brink of defaulting on its debt obligations, according to Business Insider.

Evergrande invests heavily in real estate and also had promised to be an answer to Elon Musk’s Tesla in China, yet Evergrande has not produced and sold a single electric vehicle so far.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin is testing new all time highs in the wake of the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF launch in the US. ProShares reportedly hauled in more than $570 million of orders for its Bitcoin futures based ETF in the first day of trading on the New York Stock Exchange.

The now month long volcanic eruption at La Palma, an island off the coast of Africa, continues to produce active lava flow and moderate earthquakes in the region.

Authorities say the lava flow has already destroyed nearly 2,000 acres of land and almost as many buildings on the island.

And now, in addition to La Palma and recent volcanic activity on one of Hawaii’s islands, a volcanic eruption in Japan has sent smoke miles high into the atmosphere. The volcano in Japan is one of the world’s largest volcanoes, so its recent burst of activity is worrying to geologists.

Bitcoin smashed past $60,300 per coin after speculation that the SEC could imminently approve a Bitcoin futures based ETF, or exchange traded fund.

The ETF would allow anyone with a brokerage account, including larger investors, to gain exposure to Bitcoin’s price by investing in the ETF.

It would also be a final nail in the coffin of those who believe cryptocurrency is a fad or temporary phenomenon.

Earlier this year, when faith in the central banks was at an all time low and when China was responsible for nearly two-thirds of all the cryptocurrency mining, China’s leader Xi could have taken a very bold step by further weakening the central banks - and opening the door to Bitcoin at a time of strategic strength.

Instead, his regime did the opposite, outlawing it, dropping cryptocurrency mining involvement in China to close to ZERO percent, and handing all the mining revenue to the West - today, the United States is the largest source of cryptocurrency mining operations, followed by Europe and Russia.

The situation in La Palma, in the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa, continues to spiral out of control.

A continuous lava flow from a now active volcanic eruption there has forced ongoing evacuations, destroyed homes, and as of just hours ago chunks of lava the size of entire office buildings, according to local media, is being ejected from the volcano.

The strange intensity of the volcanic eruption at La Palma, now in week three, has stoked the flames of conspiracy theories that La Palma’s eruption could cause the island to fracture — and that as part of the island falls into the ocean, it could basically create a splash capable of triggering a massive tsunami.

That’s literally their responsibility as a publicly traded company that has to answer to the SEC every quarter. If they aren’t putting profits first, it means they’re playing with shareholders money. How is that hard for the whistle blower to understand?

Facebook wants to maximize engagement with the content on their site, so they make more in Advertising Revenue. Fairly standard.

The real scandal, if anyone wants to blow the whistle on it, is that Facebook algorithmically censored millions of people with adverse vaccine reactions.

In a sign America may be inching closer to a civil war, yesterday FBI agents raided the headquarters of the NYPD’s union, as well as the home of the police union’s President.

The reportedly right leaning union chief, and critic of Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates, was apparently the target of the FBI’s raid. Aside from stating the raid is part of “an ongoing investigation,” the FBI has given no other details - although many on the right see a direct connection between the union’s anger over the vaccine mandates, and today’s raid.

It has also been widely reported the FBI will be deployed to investigate parents protesting the mask mandates that various local school authorities are extending.

In other news, the island of La Palma’s volcano continued to spew lava on Tuesday, with authorities saying the eruption has grown louder and stronger in recent days.

Facebook started Monday with quite the belly flop. Its shares dropped as much as 6 percent earlier today as, according to MarketWatch, its main service, in addition to Facebook Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp - all of which it owns - went down for an extended period of time. Even the status page for developers to internally check on the status of various parts of Facebook went down, according to reports.

FULCRUM’s company Facebook page was among those inaccessible as of Monday early afternoon. The unspecified outage affected millions of brand pages and personal accounts across Facebook, worrying investors and pundits.

In other news, La Palma’s volcanic eruption continued into Monday for its 17th day of activity, and a large ongoing volcanic eruption in Hawaii triggered a flurry of media attention also.
