Under an inferior covenant, with only a type and shadow of Jesus to come represented in the ark, David finds himself full of thanksgiving and dancing as he returns the ark of the covenant to Jerusalem. Now, we're learning that we have a dance unlike David's—a dance he never could dance. Our dance now testifies that we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ—not by our own sacrifices, but by the superior sacrifice of Jesus.
