Hollywood's latest drama unfolds! Warner Brothers is officially for sale and the bidders include Paramount, Comcast, and Netflix. Paramount Skydance (CEO, David Ellison) is bidding for the entire company, while Comcast and Netflix are offering to purchase specific parts like the studios and streaming services. The company has not yet accepted an offer, and it could be sold as a whole or split into separate parts. It will be interesting to see which of these companies make the purchase as that will change the direction for the Warner Brothers' legacy. Will this sale hurt the local economy in Burbank? If so, will housing prices fall? However, possibly prices may go up with time since more studios may be built that will bring back jobs.
