What if your value had nothing to do with what you accomplish, fix, or prove?
In this episode of Full Embrace, we explore intrinsic value—the worth you carry simply by existing.
In this episode of Full Embrace, Michelle and I explore the idea of intrinsic value—the worth we carry simply by being here. Not because of what we do, achieve, or contribute, but because it is already within us.
We begin by unpacking what “intrinsic” really means: inward, essential, inherent, not accidental. From there, we talk about how easy it is to forget this truth in a world that constantly measures our value by productivity, perfection, or performance.
I share a personal experience of asking God what He wanted to talk about—and receiving the answer: your intrinsic value. What followed was a reminder that I am not small, that my presence matters, and that remembering our value can bring ease, confidence, and a deeper sense of peace. Michelle reflects on how intrinsic value is unchangeable—you cannot earn more of it or lose it—and offers a beautiful example of her grandson, whose worth is obvious simply because he exists.
Together, we share how we each received our own understanding of intrinsic value through prayer and reflection, and how powerful it can be to receive that knowing from a source beyond fear, comparison, or self-doubt.
We also talk about why this matters—especially in moments of depression, discouragement, or feeling invisible—and how knowing our value doesn’t erase pain, but can offer light, grounding, and something steady to hold onto.
We close by inviting listeners to gently explore this for themselves: to notice what resonates, to ask the question in their own way, to write it down, and even to begin with fear if that’s what’s present.
Because the truth we keep returning to is this:
Your value is limitless. It spans existence.
And if it’s true for one of us, it’s true for all of us.
Every part of life—embraced.
