It's brand new edition of Big Fight Weekend, as host T.J. Rives gets ready for a rising unbeaten American star making his latest title defense and championship doubleheader of fights in Texas coming up, as well.

First up is legendary play by play commentator, Barry Tompkins of Showtime who will be on the call of the Gervonta Davis-Ricardo Nunez WBA Jr. Lightweight Title fight Saturday night from Baltimore. Tompkins gives the breakdown of Davis and whom he compares him to in boxing history.

Next, England's David Payne of Boxingwriter.co.uk is back on to recap the Manny Pacquiao-Keith Thurman world title fight last weekend, as "Pacman" put on another amazing performance at 40 years old with his 12 round decision. David also has the latest on England heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte who won his fight last Saturday but tested positive for PEDs.

Also, sadly T.J. and David discuss the death last weekend of Russian fighter Maxim Dadashev and the seriousness of fighter health and safety.

Finally, Marquis Johns of BigFightWeekend.com is back on to preview Davis-Nunez, as well as Maurice Hooker and Tevin Farmer title defenses in Texas Saturday. Marquis also has thoughts on Pacquiao-Thurman and more.
