Poirier is looking to continue his climb up the Lightweight ladder, He's going to try and puts Gaethje's lights out with some crisp boxing, and Gaethje is going to throw everything including the kitchen sink at Dustin. What a weekend, UFC 223, NXT TakeOver New Orleans, WrerstleMania 34 all in the books. UFC was great but the WWE held its own this weekend, entertainment wise. NXT had the intro of a new title, the North American title was debut in a 5 way Ladder match with great Super Stars debuting as well. EC3 and Ricochet both put it on. NXT never lets down and always seems to top itself. WrestleMania was awesome, I would give it a 8.5-9 out of 10. Great Matches and WOW moments within the moves and matches themselves. UFC 223 has come and gone and what a card, WOW!!!! The fighters left on the card PUT IT ON!!!!! what was booked on paper as one of the biggest cards of 2018 fell apart right before our eyes. Khabib vs Tony was booked 4 times and fell apart all 4, So Max Halloway steps in with 6 days notice to save the card but was to heavy to make weight so after a musical chairs of 155lb contenders, Finally we get Khabib vs Iaquinta,Then In the Co Main we Had the Rematch Rose vs Joana Jędrzejczyk II for the 115lb Belt.
