While Gardner Minshew does provide a good insurance policy, John talks about why he would prefer not to have to see him play this year. John then pivots to the NBA playoffs, while also touching on the MLB and the Cincinnati Reds.  

27:52 – 46:30 – Zak Keefer of The Athletic joins the show to talk about Anthony Richardson, and how long it will take for him to be ready to play. John seems firmly of the mindset that he needs to play, while Zak advocates for a bit more patience. They discuss if Richardson would benefit from watching a veteran like Minshew play for the first 4-5 games, as well as the makeup of the team that Richardson is walking in to. Finally, John and Zak talk about the other quarterbacks on the roster, and the future of Shaquille Leonard.

John and Kevin spend some time talking about their hatred of running, their favorite Mexican restaurants, and more! They then get into the Anthony Richardson conversation, and if he should play soon. 1:34:21 – 1:58:51 – Mark Long, who covers the Jacksonville Jaguars and Florida Gators for the AP, joins to discuss the Colts divisional rival, their draft, as well as the Colts selection of Anthony Richardson from Florida. Mark gives his thoughts on how long the Colts should wait to play Richardson. They also talk about if Richardson ever thought about jumping into the transfer portal after Florida fired Dan Mullen. John and Mark then talk about what the Jaguars have done during the offseason, and where that leaves them going into next year.  

1:58:52 – 2:12:00 – John opens the phone lines back up!
