The Ride with JMV

Full Show: Colts Make A Splash By Signing Stephon Gilmore!

Listen Later

(00:00-30:40) – The Ride With JMV opens up on a Friday with his reaction to Chris Ballard signing Stephon Gilmore to address a big need, how the Colts have added veteran players to the locker room versus younger, and how he wishes Ballard would attack wide receiver like he has defensive players.
(30:40-42:26) – JMV continues discussing the Colts signing Stephon Gilmore to the Indianapolis Colts by responding to some tweets pertaining to the lack of offensive signings the Colts have made and takes his first caller today asking if WR is a lock for their second round pick.
(42:26-47:00) – Hour number one concludes with Network Indiana’s Bob Lovell making a quick appearance on the show to share his thoughts/emotions on Lawrence North’s Jack Keefer retiring after 46 years of coaching.
(47:00-1:19:03) – ESPN.com’s Mike Wells is back with JMV on a Friday to break down the two veterans the Colts signed in Stephon Gilmore and Rodney McLeod, why he thinks Indianapolis will be drafting a lot of offensive players in the upcoming draft, and how he wouldn’t be shocked if Ballard looks to move up to get the guy they want.
(1:19:03-1:29:18) – JMV continues to stress that the Colts need to address wide receiver with their second round pick and why they need to stop doing their “due diligence” with the quarterbacks within this draft class.
(1:29:18-1:34:03) – JMV closes out the second hour of the show by giving away a pair of tickets for a lucky listened to go see Kings of Chaos on Carb Day!
(1:34:03-1:58:25) – ESPN.com’s David Newton joins JMV to explain what kind of player Stephon Gilmore was last season for the Carolina Panthers, where he felt that his biggest presence was felt last year, and if Colts fans should be concerned with the age of Gilmore.
(1:58:25-2:13:02) – As we near the conclusion of today’s show, JMV receives a call from a regular listener asking who the next defensive pro-bowler is for the Colts and then what are the odds take two receivers and a tight end with their first three picks in the upcoming NFL Draft.
(2:13:02-2:18:25) – JMV closes out today’s show by reading off a couple comments in regards to Stephon Gilmore from the YouTube chat and some tweets.
