(00:00-27:07) – The Ride with JMV opens on a Friday with John recapping Purdue’s victory Rutgers, explains how crucial David Jenkins Jr. and Mason Gillis to the win for Matt Painter’s crew, how he’s begging the Indiana Hoosiers to show up tonight to get one step closer to a hopeful rematch between IU and Purdue, and touch on the Indiana Pacers pulling out an overtime win against the Houston Rockets.

(27:07-41:15) – The hall of famer Bob Lovell of Indiana Sports Talk joins JMV on a Friday to break down some of the IHSAA Boys Basketball matchups that he’s monitoring with regional action this weekend, if there is a team that can knock off Ben Davis in the tournament, and what he thought of Purdue pulling out the win over Rutgers.       

(41:15-45:54) – The first hour of today’s show concludes with Vince Welch being joined by Mark Montieth of the Indiana Business Journal to give his thoughts on the Boilermakers ahead of the Big Ten and NCAA Tournaments, which player for Indiana must play well in order to make a run, and why he isn’t a huge fan of conference tournaments.

(45:54-1:16:22) – ESPN Radio’s Mike Wells makes his weekly stop on the Ride with JMV on a Friday to give his thoughts on the Colts free agents, if he’s expecting Chris Ballard to change his roster construction philosophy this offseason to help the future rookie quarterback, and what he ultimately think Chris Ballard will do when it comes to trading up to get a quarterback or staying put at four.

(1:16:22-1:23:37) – JMV shifts the conversation back to Purdue outdueling Rutgers in the second half to come up with their first win in the Big Ten Tournament and provides a live update on the Ohio State/Michigan State game.

(1:23:37-1:28:35) – Hour number two rounds out with producer Eddie Garrison replaying the Mark Patrick rejoiner for John since he missed out on it the previous segment and JMV expresses how Mark has impacted his career along with the involvement he had in the city.

(1:28:35-1:49:40) – Legendary voice of the Indiana Hoosiers in Don Fischer joins JMV from Chicago to provide some of the keys for Indiana as they take on Maryland tonight, what he wants the Hoosiers to do tonight compared to their previous game against the Terrapins, and who needs to step up for Mike Woodson’s team in order to secure a victory this evening.

(1:49:40-2:06:41) – The voice of the Purdue Boilermakers basketball team in Rob Blackman joins JMV to share his overall thoughts on Purdue’s win over Rutgers, how Fletcher Loyer is struggling to put together efficient games, how important David Jenkins Jr. was to the win today, and the lack of playing time today for Caleb Furst.
