00:00 – 32:06 – John jumps right into the NBA trade deadline insanity, and the Pacers involvement in that as the team made a move and got both Serge Ibaka and George Hill. He also gets into some of the other news happening around the league. John talks to Evan Sidery of Basketball News to further get into the NBA trade deadline and some of the big moves that have happened, including the Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook trades, as well as the Pacers and the moves they made. They also talk about how the new acquisitions could affect the current lineup. 

32:07 – 46:14 – John talks to Rob Blackman, voice of the Purdue Boilermakers, joins the show to talk about Purdue’s matchup against the Iowa Hawkeyes this evening. They talk about how Purdue is hoping to bounce back after Saturday’s shocking loss to Indiana.  

46:15 – 49:10 – John closes the 1st hour by reviewing the craziness of the NBA trade deadline! 

49:11 – 1:15:47 – The 2nd hour of the show gets going with John going over the Pacers loss to the Miami Heat last night in Miami, and the lack of playing time star rookie Bennedict Mathurin was receiving during the closing minutes of the contest. John then takes some questions from listeners about the Pacers, their loss to Miami, and their trade deadline moves.  

1:15:48 – 1:28:40 – The show keeps going with John continuing to take calls from listeners on the Pacers and their moves for the trade deadline 

1:28:41 – 1:31:50 – John closes the 2nd hour out! 

1:31:51 – 2:03:19 – Mike Chappell from CBS4 and FOX59 kicks off the final hour, as the conversation shifts away from the NBA and towards the Colts elongated head coaching search. They discuss how it is somewhat impressive how tight of a lid the Colts have kept on who they might be leaning toward. They also talk about Jeff Saturday, and his claim to the job.  

2:03:20 – 2:12:19 – John discusses the news that Carmel High School wants to cancel their sporting contracts with Center Grove High School, before opening the phone lines back up to more listeners.  

2:12:20 – 2:18:20 – John closes out another edition of The Ride With JMV by previewing tomorrows show!
