He talks about the Lions win against the Rams, their first playoff victory in 32 years. He dives into how big of a moment that was for Detroit. He also talks the Pacers and their loss to the Denver Nuggets.  

25:35 – 43:40 – Voice of the Boilermakers Rob Blackman joins the show ahead of the inner-state showdown between the Indiana Hoosiers and the Purdue Boilermakers! Rob and John talk Purdue’s win over Penn State, and how it was a nice rebound after losing to Nebraska. They then preview the matchup between the Hoosiers and the Boilermakers.  

43:41 – 1:12:35 – Jeremiah Johnson of Bally Sports Indiana calls from Utah to give an update on the Pacers western road trip! John and Jeremiah dive into the Pacers tough January schedule, and how their play earlier in December gave them a bit of leeway on this road trip. They also break down the Pacers loss to the Nuggets. JJ talks about Tyrese Haliburton, and how he has looked since the he started missing time with a hamstring injury.  

1:12:36 – 1:23:48 – JMV responds to an email from a listener on Texans quarterback C.J Stroud as well as Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson. 

1:23:49 – 1:28:38 – JMV wraps up the 2nd hour of the show! 

1:28:39 – 1:58:26 – Stephen Holder of ESPN joins the show to talk some NFL with John! Stephen and JMV talk about the rookie season of Texans quarterback C.J Stroud, and how impressive it was. They also discuss the electric environment at Lucas Oil in the Colts season-ending loss to Houston, and how disappointing it was that the Colts didn’t get the job done. They get into what pieces the Colts need to add this offseason, as well as the defense and why the Colts are bringing DC Gus Bradley back next year. 

1:58:27 - 2:07:46 - JMV keeps the show rolling by talking the NFL playoffs, and how great it is for Lions fans to finally have a team worth rooting for.
