He talks about the quarterbacks, namely C.J Stroud and Will Levis, and who he expects and wants the team to take. He also discusses C.J Stroud’s comments regarding concerns about his performance on certain intelligence tests. 

27:56 – 45:00 – Greg Rakestraw, who broadcasts for the ISC Sports Network and hosts the Colts postgame show, joins John to discuss the NFL Draft and who the Colts might end up selecting with the 4th overall pick, as well as other potential scenarios that might unfold with the first 3 picks. They also talk about the news that Xavier Johnson has received his medical waiver and will play basketball for IU next year.   

45:00 – 49:09 – John wraps up the 1st hour by taking some calls on the Colts and the NFL Draft! 

49:10 – 1:18:07 – Zak Keefer from The Athletic joins the program! Zak has been writing rundowns on the pros and cons of each possible QB selection; he and John dive into those. They also talk about what we might see unfold with the first 3 picks in the draft. Zak gives his thoughts on C.J Strouds comments on concerns about his mental ability; he also talks about the concerns surrounding Stroud and the level of talent he had around him at Ohio State.  

1:18:08 – 1:29:01 – John keeps the Colts quarterback conversation alive by looking at the Colts recent quarterback history, and how it has led to their current situation. He then opens the phone lines up! 

1:29:02 – 1:33:48 – John wraps up the 2nd hour of today’s show with some more calls! 

1:33:49 – 2:02:27 – Kevin Bowen from the morning show Kevin & Query joins the show to discuss the NFL Draft! Kevin and John talk about how much pull head coach Shane Steichen should have when it comes to picking the Colts next quarterback! They also compare C.J Stroud, and the pieces he had around him at Ohio State, to Joe Burrow, and if Burrow received the same criticism for the level of talent he had at LSU. The conversation turns back to Stroud and his S2 scores; Kevin gives his opinion on that. They then get into the NBA playoffs, which saw Paul George and the Clippers get bounced last night.  

2:02:28 – 2:17:12 – Joe DeLeone, NFL Draft Analyst for the Bleav Podcast Network, joins the show to give his thoughts on the NFL draft now that we’re almost 24 hours away! Joe discusses what the Texans might end up doing with their two first round picks! He and John also talk about likely trade scenarios for the Cardinals at the 3rd overall pick. They also get into what players might be drafted earlier than expected, and which ones might slide.
