Spero Dedes of TNT then joins the show to talk about the Pacers, and their performance against Boston. Spero talks about the Celtics and their defense, which is one of the best in the NBA. John and Spero then take a look at tomorrow’s Pacers-Knicks matchup, and what the Pacers can expect tonight in New York.  

27:48 – 40:17 – JMV keeps talking about the Pacers, specifically Aaron Nesmith, who has been playing great as of late. He opens the phone lines up and takes some calls from listeners about Purdue Basketball and more! 

40:18 – 44:34 – JMV wraps up the hour with another phone call!  

44:35 – 1:14:36 – Coach Dusty May from Florida Atlantic University joins the show! JMV and Dusty talk about where his program is right now vs where they were at a year ago, now that the expectations are so much higher following their run in the NCAA Tournament last year. Dusty talks about having good leadership in their locker room, and how he goes about building that sort of environment. They also talk about what Dusty took away from watching the tape of their loss to San Diego State in the Final Four.  

1:14:37 – 1:28:17 – JMV dives back into the Pacers and their loss to the Celtics. He talks about how despite the loss (and his opposition to “moral victories” or “entertaining losses”) he was impressed with the fight the Pacers showed. He then takes some more phone calls! 

1:28:18 – 1:31:02 – JMV wraps up the 2nd hour of the show! 

1:31:03 – 2:04:02 – Kevin Bowen from the morning show The Wake Up Call w/KB & Andy joins! JMV and Kevin talk the Pacers loss to the Celtics, and how it was a good effort despite the loss. They also talk about IU’s win last night over Iowa. They talk about Purdue, and how they have to break through the early rounds of the NCAA Tournament this year, before moving on to Gardner Minshew being named a Pro Bowler.  

2:04:03 – 2:14:08 – JMV goes back to the phones and takes some more calls from listeners!  

2:14:09 – 2:19:41 – JMV wraps up another edition of the show!
