He does like that the team hung in despite the many injuries to the squad. He gets into IU’s disheartening loss to Penn State last night, and how this IU team as a whole has been very underwhelming.  

 

31:24 – IU Basketball Alumni and former Big Ten MVP Brian Evans joins John to dive into IU’s embarrassing loss to Penn State, the many issues they have seen pop up during the course of the season, and what they can do to try and correct these issues. They also talk about if the blame for IU’s underperformance belongs to head coach Mike Woodson.

1:10:44 – Pacers beat writer Tony East joins John as they dive headfirst into the Pacers loss last night to the New York Knicks, 119-113, how the team continues to battle despite its youth and the injuries, as well as the injury to Tyrese Haliburton that has all of Indiana holding its breath. They also preview the Pacers matchup against the Atlanta Hawks tomorrow night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. 

 

1:29:05 – John takes some calls from a listener to close out the 2nd hour! 

 

1:34:09 – Mike Chappell, who covers the Colts for CBS4 and FOX59 joins John to move the conversation to the Colts, and Chris Ballard getting another year as GM for the team. They get into what else the team needs to address this offseason; mainly, getting another wide receiver besides Michael Pittman Jr. Finally they get into what the Colts should do in the draft this year. 

 

2:01:13 – Jeremiah Johnson of Bally Sports Indiana joins John to break down the Pacers loss to the Knicks as well as the Tyrese Haliburton injury news that he will be out for at least 2 weeks. They preview the lineup against the Hawks tomorrow night, mainly that Myles Turner is still questionable with back spasms.
